We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide some additional context regarding the concerns you experienced. Upon your arrival, the area experienced a significant storm that resulted in a power outage. While the home does have a whole-house generator, the pool and hot tub systems are on separate breakers and are not powered through the generator. Because of this, we were unable to properly clean and service the pool and hot tub until power was fully restored. Once power returned, we addressed the issue as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, one of the video game systems was damaged due to the power outage. This was an unexpected result of the storm and something that was outside of our control, but we worked to resolve the issues as quickly as we could. We also wish we had been given the opportunity to address the cleanliness concerns immediately. Our goal is always to respond and assist our guests whenever something is brought to our attention. We regret that you felt communication was lacking, as we would have been happy to help troubleshoot and resolve concerns during your stay. It is unfortunate that there was a lack of understanding regarding circumstances caused by an unexpected storm and power outage, as these situations are beyond our control. We did our best to correct the issues in a timely manner and ensure you could enjoy the property as intended.
