We’re happy to hear your group enjoyed the spacious layout, large dining area, and especially the pool — it’s a guest favorite and perfect for large families to enjoy together! We’d like to take a moment to clarify a few things for future guests. The home has four full bathrooms, as accurately described in the listing and shown in the photos. The layout includes two ensuite bathrooms upstairs in the 2 king suites, a full bath between the king and bunk rooms on the main level, and a fourth full bath in the in-law suite. The in-law suite is a private, fully enclosed space designed to offer flexibility — it includes a king bedroom, private full bath, a living area with a pull-out sofa, and a kitchenette. It’s ideal for guests who appreciate a little separation or quiet space during a group stay. Access to the main part of the home is available via two separate exterior stairways. Regarding the beach, the Walton Dunes access in Seagrove Beach is just a short walk away and is often praised for its natural setting, relaxed atmosphere, and flat dune walkover with no stairs — making it especially easy for families to access the beach. While crowd levels and weather can vary, guests are encouraged to check out the SoWal BeachCam for Seagrove Beach Walton Dunes for a live view of current beach conditions before or during their stay. We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad your group enjoyed many aspects of the home. As stated via email, I was blindsided & disappointed in this review as you never indicated any issues in any of our communications during your stay.As you noted, I was very responsive in my communication with you so you could have assumed I would have done whatever necessary to resolve your issues given the opportunity.We have a property manager who is readily available and extras of most items should anything be broken or missing, including pillows, dishes and a blender which you indicated-So, those issues could have been resolved easily and quickly with 1 text, call, or email from you.Also, as you know, the beach access is a temporary issue due to the county’s closure of the path near our home for dune restoration during this season which will be restored in 2021.The increase in distance to the West access is 50 yards, which is about 2 additional minutes of walking.For potential guests, please see the aerial photos included in the listing.We also have videos of the exact walk.In my communication with this guest leading up to her reservation, she erroneously thought we had a private beach access.Her incorrect assumption likely led to her disappointment at the onset.All furniture is what is represented in the vrbo walkthrough photos on the listing which was done through a vrbo photographer(2019). We did not manipulate the appearance of the furniture in these photos in any way, so I’m not able to address your indication that the photos misrepresent our home without specific examples.One change we did make for this season due to Covid regulations was to remove all décor items which does impact the overall appearance; but this was a state mandate with which we had to comply for the safety of our guests- no furniture pieces were removed.Perhaps some furniture items have a few more scratches than in the photos?Obviously, this is a rental and we don’t expect our guests to treat everything with kid-gloves.Rather, we place priority on comfortable beds/seating-we want to minimize the stress of parents having to so closely monitor children so nothing is broken.1 of the best complements from a guest was that they did not have to spend their time child-proofing our home at the start of their stay.Our goal is for parents to relax and enjoy their stay too!
