The unit was very nice, spacious no complaints with the check in. We did have an issue the was brought to the attention of management. I was very impressed how well they addressed my concerns. I would definitely recommend Surfside to travelers looking for a spot.

Good place for large group

Nice big house. Furnishings are nice and it has everything you need. The only knock on the property is the upstairs carpet is older and dirty-looking/stained throughout where people walk.

Great property, short walk to the beach

We were very pleased with the unit. It was real comfortable for the 14 of us, plenty of seating, bedspace and bathrooms. The pool was a nice size. Prior to travel, we contacted the rental company asking about specific kitchen items and got a vague reply "basic kitchen items". Turned out there were 2 regular coffee makers and a Keurig. Also there was a crock pot we wanted to know. There were clothes left from previous renters under the main floor bed and in an upstairs dresser. There is a shed with a wagon, umbrellas, chairs, buckets and shovels that would have been nice to know so we didn't need to pack. We enjoyed our time there.

If you are looking for a house that has the bare minimums, this is it. Otherwise, bring everything. Air conditioner had to be worked on twice on day of arrival then in our 2nd day. Refrigerator wasn’t cooling so maintenance had to look at that also. Sinks and showers didn’t drain well and water backed up. House did not look like it had been cleaned. Floors were dirty, silverware drawer and ice maker both had food residue. Literally the only thing that was there that was extra was a toilet paper roll and a travel size bar of soap. No cleaning products, no pantry stables, no nothing. Only thing to clean with was a dirty sponge mop and a small vacuum. Kitchen pans had baked on residue. Beds were very uncomfortable and had cheap mattresses (even the teenagers complained). No extra blankets, or extra cover either. Patios and pool area needed pressure washing and the pool chairs were dry rotting. Pool area lights weren’t working. Overall, for what we paid, we were very disappointed with the house and it’s upkeep and lack of anything AT ALL to make it a “home away from home comfortable “ stay.
