Our stay was so delightful that we added an extra day — all the necessities and many little luxuries were provided by our gracious host, Megan. We especially enjoyed the record collection and fire pit/deck area. I highly recommend the jet bath!!

It was like stepping into a magical world.

Everything! The location in the woods, the charm of the geodome, how well thought out each detail of the geodome. The place was very well stocked with every kitchen item you could imagine. A must see! We will certainly come back for another relaxing and tranquil visit.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, enjoy time together withnature after our wedding

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Wildwood for our honeymoon. It’s evident that very much time, effort, and love went into creating this beautiful place! The cute bathroom, the soaking tub, the steel tongue drum, the fire pit, and the beautiful views were some of our favorite things about the site. There are so many special touches that make it even more magical, Iike the little fairy doors and string lights. Perfect place to relax enjoy time with each other and nature after our wedding.

So great we never left the property!

We just needed a retreat, and we found it here! The place was comfortable, the king bed was a delight, and all the little amenities made us feel like we were pampered -- from a superior array of albums to candles and incense, we felt indulged at all angles. The outdoor bath was amazing -- we used it 3 nights in a row!!

Glamping Done Right

Charming and full of thoughtful touches. Well-appointed. Nice woodland setting which is a fairly easy drive to Hocking Hills State Park and Athens/Ohio University. Good value. We wanted a slightly easier, more comfortable alternative to our usual wild camping, and this fit the bill perfectly.

Beautiful relaxing view with outstanding personal touches to meet all your expectations and more!

The personal touches such as a banner, flowers,breakfast and more. The owner is happy and quick to help with anything you needs. Our anniversary was amazing with a peaceful getaway here. We will forever recommend this location. It was beyond our dreams!

Perfection all the way down to the unique coffee mugs 🙂

The tub outside was so relaxing and the outdoor chairs were so comfortable. Loved having well water, essential oils, record player and the bed linens felt comfy and expensive.

I can not express enough how much I would ABSOLUTELY recommend a stay at Grounded Domes!!! We booked this relatively last minute as a mother-daughter getaway and we were absolutely blown away. You can truly feel all the love and care put into this place…they have seriously thought of everything! All the sweet little details like the gorgeously-curated vynl collection, the oil diffuser on upon arrival, and local tea selection made this trip that much more magical. On top of that, everything was pristinely clean and perfectly cozy. I can not thank the owners enough for sharing this beautiful space with the world.I will be shouting Grounded Domes from the rooftops and am already planning my next visit :,)Oh and do not miss your chance to enjoy the seriously life-changing outdoor tub…HEAVEN

It was just what we needed, the opportunity to leave the world behind and find peace.

We liked the whimsy of the decorations outside and inside. We enjoyed the proximity to Lake Hope Star Park and the trails with provided maps. We were grateful to have the grill with cutlery and plates provided, it made packing and food planning easier.

My daughter and I stayed here for Mom’s Weekend and had the best time. The dome is cozy, unique, and fully stocked—we only had to bring clothes and food.There are hiking trails right outside, and plenty to do nearby—we even went ziplining!Such a peaceful, fun getaway. We’ll definitely be back

This was such a great experience. My wife and I had a wonderful time. It gave us the opportunity to get away and enjoy our time together. It is very peaceful and quiet on the property. Everything was clean. Megan goes above to make sure you enjoy your stay there. Megan makes sure the moment you step into the dome, it’s comfortable, clean, and peaceful. When we got there, it was hot and humid outside. When we stepped into the dome to get out of the humidity, Megan had the dome cooled off for us. It was so refreshing to get out of the humidity. The reviews are what helped make our decision to stay here. We are looking forward to booking another stay at the Rooted Domes.

Everything you could ask for and more.

Megan has truly taken the time to think about everything. Layouts and themes big and small detail even to the direction of sunrise to sunset for them magical moments with the special person in your life. Everything! Best getaway into the woods! Hands down.

Absolutely amazing I didn't want to leave! ❤️

This dome was so peaceful, clean, and has everything that you could have needed. What an awesome view and sound of the running creek was so relaxing. We used the outside tub with the provided bath bubbles it smelled amazing. We listened to music on the record player while we played Scrabble before bed. The polaroid camera with a new package of film was an absolute bonus. The bathroom was clean and only a few steps away. The reviews are 100% to the tee! I can't wait to return. Thank you for an am

It was a great stay. Great ambience. fully self sufficient with a lot of amenities. Peaceful place to relax and unwind. Although the price was a little steep for one night, it was a clean and wonderful stay.
