The house was very clean. Great location right across from the beach access and within walking distance of restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops. Very responsive hosts.

Awesome time! Great location to the beach and all spots in Surf City!! Deck was fun to sit out at night. Beach access was super close. Kaley was very responsive and helpful. Super easy checkin. Thank you !

Loved our stay in Purple Haze! It had everything we needed for a cozy stay, fun game nights, & provided plenty of space to relax inside or on either balcony! The beach was just steps away from the house and food wise - a short walk to so many terrific options (Shaka Taco, Sunrise Bagels, and Daybreak Donuts to name a few). Appreciated the easy check in / out and clear / friendly communication from the owners! Loved being able to bring our dog too! All around wonderful stay!

This home was so perfect for our family! Had everything we needed and was so convenient to everything, beach access, restaurants, stores. Loved the location, our teen daughters really loved this place. Will be back for sure!

This property is conveniently located right across from the beach access which makes it easy to enjoy your beach vacation. The house is in need of a few updates but overall was great for our family. The kitchen cooking supplies are a little lacking if you are one to cook for your family on vacation. The host did a standout job replacing the dryer within a day. I was extremely impressed by their ability to fix that problem. We would stay there again.

You are right that some pieces are ready for a refresh, and the kitchen and the linens are on that list because you named them. It means a lot that you would come back.

Wonderful place to stay! The house was clean when we arrived. The host was very easy to contact if needed and made sure everything was prepared for our stay. Check in and check out were super easy. The location is excellent! Close to restaurants and shops with a beach access just steps away from the house. If it’s available for the next dates we are in town we will definitely stay again!

Kaley and John were everything we could have hoped for as hosts and same for their house Purple Haze. It was awesome already having boogie boards and beach chairs, and a bunch of additional items that we did not have to load up and bring from home. They were also extremely communicative making everything seemless. The only issue we had was with an upstairs thermostat not keeping the setpoint and I messaged John at 10:30 PM and he responded right away and fixed it remotely. The house was perfect for a family of four and could even be fine for an additional family. Great location as well.

Perfect location

We loved how conveniently located this property was. Great walking distance to all the little spots we wanted to go to. Just the right size for a little getaway. Well stocked with essentials. We will definitely be staying here again.

Communication was great and house was just as we had hoped. Cozy and walking distance to everything we wanted to do/see/eat/play. View from the second floor balcony is divine. A Happy Thanksgiving was had by our small family and two dogs. Thank you!

Cozy relaxing retreat

Close to everything, across the street from the beach access, and has everything you need. Comfortable beds, cozy seating area, well-stocked kitchen. We loved walking to dinner and the local small grocery.
