The house was in the perfect location for the things we wanted to do. We visited Jeter Mountain Farm, Elijah Mountain Gem Mine, downtown Hendersonville, and Hooker Falls- all about 15 min from the house. Perfect for a weekend getaway with toddlers. The hot tub and the pickleball courts were enjoyed all weekend. The house is older and a little quirky but the owners have made every effort to supply the house with anything you might need. They did a great job communicating during the whole process. Very pleased with our stay!

Wonderful location and the perfect size for our family. We had 13 people, including 5 kids 5 and under. There was lots to do and plenty of privacy. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are huge. So close to the historic Main Street, grocery stores and outdoor BBQ vendor.

Great house in a great neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and will be rebooking this property for next year. The house is in a very nice neighborhood and is well equipped for all kinds of sporting activity including a large field adjacent to the property. We prepared a few large meals and the well equipped kitchen made it easy.

Mi è piaciuto: Check-in e posizione
The setting is beautiful, and Hendersonville has plenty to do, especially with kids. The deck and expansive outdoor space were highlights of our stay. The house itself did not meet the standard of a luxury rental. Over four weeks, we dealt with broken or missing refrigerator shelving, an unusable upstairs bathtub covered in tape, a broken shower door, no proper kitchen knives or cutting boards, missing bedroom trash cans and laundry hampers, several rooms that ran hot, and a bed that collapsed while my parents were sleeping in it.Management addressed many of the issues, but getting them resolved required repeated follow-up and more coordination than expected. Communication sometimes felt defensive, and someone came onto the property to take photographs without notice. Ultimately, the house and management experience did not match the listing or price point.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful setting, outdoor space, and Hendersonville. We are disappointed that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Our team remained responsive throughout your extended stay and made every effort to address the concerns brought to our attention and accommodate your requests. We would also note that several details mentioned in this review do not accurately reflect the condition of the property or the actions taken by our team. We take all feedback seriously and continually work to improve our homes and guest experience. We’re proud of our many positive reviews and the consistently high level of care our team provides to our guests.

We loved our week in Hendersonville! We stayed here for our annual family trip, we are a multigenerational family of 16 with lots of kids. We used the tennis court and the pool a lot, the kids did a lot of free roaming around the property. We really enjoyed the view from the house of the hills and the golf course. The hosts were extremely responsive to any issues we had - there were some wasp nests that needed to be removed and they had an exterminator out immediately. The house is less than 10 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and a 20-40 minute drive to many beautiful hikes/waterfalls/Asheville. Note that the 2 bedrooms in the basement are basically one common space, I stayed in the basement with my kids which was perfect for us but we did have to manage when people could access the fridge down there/extra washer and dryer. It also has the closest bathroom to the pool, so if you need a private bathroom the basement is not ideal.

We appreciate your understanding regarding the basement layout and were happy to address the wasp nests right away. We’d love to welcome you back for another family getaway!

A Perfect Stay for a Special Celebration

Our family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials from bath supplies to kitchen staples which made settling in so easy and stress-free. Grocery stores were conveniently close, making it easy to run out for anything we needed. The town of Hendersonville was quaint and charming, with lovely restaurants that added to the experience. We especially enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the lake just across the street. It was so convenient and perfect for our group. Pickleball games kept everyone entertained all weekend long, and we even captured some beautiful family photos by the lake. The hosts went above and beyond with a personal touch by leaving a sweet gift in honor of my mother’s milestone birthday. They also took the time to check in on us during our stay and were incredibly responsive to any questions or requests we had. This home, and the thoughtful people behind it, helped make a special family occasion even more meaningful. We are so grateful and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming getaway.
