Take an off-road adventure and explore the tranquil natural habitat of Carova Beach at Shifting Sands. The sun, sand, and breathtaking night skies will hypnotize you while you revitalize. Enjoy the ocean-to-sound views in this well-appointed home in the four-wheel drive area where the horses still roam. This family-friendly vacation home is sure to please everyone in your group! The beach is within reach at just 350' away. Enjoy evenings in the hot tub as you soak your cares away among the Shifting Sands.
Pack a little lighter, as sheets and towels are provided. Rest easy as beds will be made for you upon arrival. Stay hydrated during those hot summer days with the help of a water filtration system.
Shifting Sands is pet-friendly (dogs only). There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.
This home is only accessible with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. All-wheel drive vehicles are not capable of navigating the soft sand and off-road beach driving conditions. To find out more about 4x4 access and driving on the beach visit https://www.visitcurrituck.com/visitor-info/beach-driving-tips
Parking passes are required to park on the 4x4 beaches from April 29th to October 7th.

Lower Level: Dry entrance and storage.
Mid Level: Main entrance, laundry, a queen bedroom with connecting full bath to the hall, a queen en suite with private bath, and the game room with pool table and flat screen TV, hot tub on deck.
Top Level: Queen bedroom with a connecting full bath to the hall and the large living areas with flat screen TV, stereo and great ocean views with covered front porch.
