We had a lovely stay! The house was spotless, and Joyce left yummy cookies and snacks for us as we came in late. The beds were very comfortable, too! It was nice to be close to campus, but in a quiet area. We would definitely rent again!!

The Casita is a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.It is so very comfortable and has everything you need. Joyce is a lovely person and was happy to assist us. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Girls' Weekend

We had a fantastic time at your Casita. It was conveniently located to Oberlin College which made it easy to visit with our Obie. La Casita is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. We will definitely be staying again!

Weekend

We had a grear stay. It was a perfect alternative to a hotel. My daughter played in a softball tournament and it was great to come home a relaxing and inviting home.

Findley State park disc golf tournament

This property is clean and well maintained! Excellent communication and perfect place for my friends and I to stay at! Short drive to Findley state park where we participated in Ohio state championship tournament. Everything is close by grocery store, places to eat I highly recommended this property.

Comfortable and Close to the Oberlin College

The space was warm and clean. We were less than a five minute drive from the college, which is why we were there. Everything we could possibly need was there. Great selection of coffee!If she goes to Oberlin we would definitely come back.

Baby Shower Weekend

This is a hidden gem!!! Residential community- very quiet and felt safe. Dont let the outside fool you (they're working on it) into not booking. Very well done interior and lots of little touches. Will definitely stay again 😁

Quiet Street, Nice home

Quaint house in a great, quiet, location. Close to downtown Oberlin. Nice bike path a few hundred yards away. Grocery store was walkable. Owners thought of everything in the house and decorated it nicely. Enjoyed the added extras of snacks and games.

Everything We Wanted and Needed

We were completely satisfied with our stay. Joyce's attention to detail is remarkable, from a kitchen with all the right utensils, pans, and plates to a generous supply of clean towels in the bathroom; from freshly made ice cubes in the freezer to a well-stocked Keurig... and all decorated for Christmas! It was spotlessly clean, centrally located on a quiet and pleasant tree-lined street. It was a perfect home base for our 4 teens/adults. Hope the property is available again on our next Oberlin visit.

Great location, clean, comfortable

This was a perfect place to stay for our family visiting with an Oberlin student. It was clean, quiet, and walking distance to campus. The large couch was our happy spot for many a board and card game. The location is right next to running trails and the shower after was hot and with great water pressure. The beds were comfortable --even the bunk bed where my 28 year old son slept. The price also was very reasonable. When our flight home was delayed, Joyce could not have been more wonderful with helping us out. It is a great place with a great host.

End of school year

We reserved Casita to facilitate moving my daughter out of the college for the summer. It was close enough to the college and quiet location. We did not spend much time in the house as we were packing and moving stuff into storage. But, we were comfortable and it felt very cozy. The house was very clean and lovely. We will come back for sure.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood.

Two friends and I booked this house for a fishing weekend on Lake Erie leaving out of nearby Lorain. The house is in a mature and quiet neighborhood. The ranch style home has been refreshed with new flooring, finishes, furniture, and bedding. The living area is open and spacious with comfortable, clean furniture. The entire home is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep including our steaks on the charcoal grill. Very clear details for use of the house, nearby attractions, WIFI details, labeled switches and check out procedures were posted and clear. The bath is clean and modern and the linen closet was well stocked, organized and labeled. We didn’t use the bikes, but there is a very nice paved hiking / biking trail at the end of the street. The nearby downtown has that small town vibe and the nearby college campus has a bit of an ivy league vibe to it. The listing described the property well and the owner was quick to respond to questions about parking. I would definitely recommend this stay.

It made me so happy to see that Dean and his friends took advantage of all that the house had to offer (except for the bikes😊) while they spent time together. We aim to accommodate most guests when they have special requests or unique situations. We appreciated how well this group respected the house and the property. I hope they consider staying here again for a future fishing trip to Lake Erie.
