We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! 🥰 The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The spa was definitely one of our favorite parts—it was so nice to sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to come back again! Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

Perfect, quiet getaway in the Appalachian mountains. Large hot tub, fantastic sauna and lots of cozy spots to relax. Very clean and well kept space. Firewood available onsite. We had a great time during our stay and are looking forward to booking here again in the future!

This cabin is an absolute gem ! It’s clear the owners have put so much love into it and it really was a great way to relax for the first time since losing my dad . If they’ll have me I’ll certainly be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this log cabin! We had the most beautiful fall weekend and got to use all the amenities to the fullest! We enjoyed the short hiking trail around the property, the firepit, the hot tub pool, and the sauna. The hot tub pool was the highlight for us- the large size, relaxing jets, and Bluetooth speakers in the tub were great! Inside the cabin was a lot bigger than the pictures look and it had everything we needed. (Spent most of our time outdoors though!) Very glad the property was dog friendly too- our dog had a blast! We did arrive at night and accidentally went up a wrong driveway so make sure you pay attention to the arrows on the signs leading to property since maps doesn’t direct to the exact location. Definitely easier to arrive in the daylight! There is a bit of gravel road leading up to the cabin, but we had no issues in our small car!Loved our stay and would especially recommend this place for any couples!

Exactly what I was hoping for

The stay was great. We only stayed a weekend but wished we had more time. I was wanting to experience what it would be like to live in mountains and I got my experience 100% would highly recommend to anyone wanting the same experience

Beautiful View

Cabin was amazing, trails were a huge plus. My family had a wonderful time. If you are used to dogs the neighbors dogs are definitely not an issue and the fencing provides privacy. Hosts are very welcoming and communicative,we really felt right at home.

Overall a great place

All around a great mountain getaway! Clean welcoming and a beautiful place. Only complaint is the neighbors dogs bark the entire time you are outside or move about the cabin if you have the main living room curtains open. They are relentless

I’m glad you loved our cozy hand build , old world log cabin with the cozy interior furniture. The neighbor dogs was probably communicating with your dog . The neighbors are approximately 300 ft away and only stay temporarily there until they finished building the home on a different spot on their property. We also improving and will plant some bamboo for even more privacy

Cozy cabin

This is a great cabin deep in Del Rio, you should have an all wheel drive vehicle to get there, you will need to stop at a grocery store before getting there because you are 40 minutes outside of Newport. I turned off the outdoor string lights to enjoy the stars at night.

Mike thanks for your feedback . We appreciate every guest and input and yes our quiet location in the forest is the perfect place for star gazing. We also only 10 min away to Martha Sundquist National forest and 30 min away to Walmart in Newport . There is also a family run convenience store 5 min away from the cabin with beer and groceries. 15 min away there is a gas station that also offers breakfast, pizza and grocery. We personally do not have 4WD vehicle and do not have problems on our back country gravel roads

Absolutely beautiful!!!!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. We were looking forward to time away from kids and our 4 dogs. This place did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in the door we saw the most thoughtful card and bottle of wine from Peggy and Sam. That speaks volumes to me. Their kindness and hospitality are unmatched. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. I would love to stay there again. I highly recommend to anyone that wants a peaceful place to stay. P.s. where did you get the furniture? I absolutely love the bed!!!!!

Hello Elisabeth, It was a pleasure to host your anniversary in our cozy and relaxing log cabin . All our unique full wooden furnitures are made by hand out of Aspen wood and Canadian slow growing and high dense wood from 2 Amish brothers in PA( Lancaster county). Again it was a pleasure to host you and all the best to you and your family
