This is a great, lakefront camp with one of the most beautiful, iconic parks (Baxter) and Mt. Katahdin viewed from inside or out on the deck. We will be back. Fantastic job by the hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakefront home! There were so many thoughtful touches, from the coffee and goodie bag to the Polaroid camera with film for guests to enjoy. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Its close proximity to Baxter State Park made it an ideal location. You can tell the hosts put a lot of love and care into making their guests feel special. We loved it here and would happily stay again!

The views from this cabin will never get old! The perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or for a slow morning with beautiful coffee views. Has everything you need! Would definitely recommend making this your Baxter State Park basecamp!

Great place to rest after busy days of working with family to open and do some much needed work at our family camp of nearly 60 years. We kept 35 people fed and happy for 3 days! Being able to come rest at the end of the day was amazing!

Knife Edge Escape was wonderful. The view is gorgeous and the hosts are very responsive. We had a great visit and would love to stay here again if we are back in the area.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay at Knife Edge Escape.Rylee and Rachel were totally responsive and quickly answered all our questions and needs.The accommodations were amazing - clean, very comfy and cozy. There were great instructions about "How to stay there" They also had everything we needed for cooking!The views of the lake and Mt Katadhan were stunning and we would just site and gaze out the windows at the amazing view.I can't say enough positive things about the Knife Edge Escape and Rylee and her team!We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful time at this home! The amenities were so thoughtfully prepared—from the basket of Turkish towels for our use, to the local jam & coffee, a nicely outfitted kitchen, and beyond. The home was clean and comfortable, and located in a gorgeous and quiet spot on the lake! The view is really stunning, and the local art featured is such a nice touch. We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay, and are looking forward to making it a tradition!

Host was communicative and made sure we were all set with our needs. House is lovely and view was amazing, even in the clouds and snow! Location was perfect for us - close to Knife's Edge Brewing and River Driver's restaurant. Also an easy drive along the snow covered Golden Road to Abol Bridge for a breathtaking view of Mt. Katahdin. Spotted a lone coyote along the Golden Road and a healthy red fox crossed the frozen lake just near the house. No moose on this trip but it was a quick trip. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

Wonderful camp!

We had such a wonderful time! The weather was rainy but that didn’t damper the activities. There was plenty of room for two families including small children. Lovely lovely camp! We will be back!

Peaceful escape

You couldn't get a more ideal location, with incredible views and a comfortable, clean, and well stocked home. The owners are highly responsive and kind. Located right off the golden road with lots of opportunity to see wildlife, close to some great food options (knifes edge brewery), and secluded enough to be incredibly peaceful and restoring. A beautiful long weekend away!

Beautiful spot with great host

This waterfront home is better than you could image. The sunsets from the porch are just magical and something that is going to bring us back. Everything was provided for kayaking, having a fire, cooking a home, family game night. The house is so close to the Baxter state park entrance and the few restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully renovated and updated 'classic Maine camp on a lake'.Stayed as part of a group of 5 while doing a 2-day gravel-bike trip. Being able to float in the lake after a long day was awesome. Plenty of space for 5 people, 6 would be fine if someone shared the big bed. More would get crowded I think.Kitchen is a joy to use, sharp knives (rare in a STR!), and a good cast-iron skillet (in addition to some new nonstick) was great.Good outdoor hangout spaces at the front and back which was helpful for being in/out of sun and wind.
