We spent a few days down in Augusta, and stayed at the Sage Cottage. The home was very roomy and well laid out. All the little extras throughout and the cleanliness made it seem like our home for our stay. Alexandra was a great attentive host Will definitely return if we are down this way again.Gerry

My husband and I came with our older son and daughter-in-law to Augusta Kansas to visit our other son and his family for the graduation of our grandson. This 2 bedroom house was a perfect base for all the celebrations. It was also conveniently located to shopping. The house was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed for convenience. We thank Alex for making our stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay

The house was super cute! The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Downtown was a short walk away. The Downtown area has breweries, shopping a restaurant/bar.

Sage Cottage Stay for 2

Alex is a great host with excellent communication and instructions. House beautiful and updated as we expected. Loved the farmhouse feel with great amenities. Easy to get in and out of town. Would stay again if abailable.

The pictures highlight the "remodel," but the place is like a fixer upper they havent finished. First thing was the smell of old stale cigarettes, followed by the literally filthy cabinets and entry. The outside was gross, and the nearby three dogs were constantly barking but not near as loud as the trains that sounded like they were coming through the front door...all night long! The tub/shower did not work and in order to fill the tub the water came from top and bottom. The drain was slow and the last straw was the bath sink backed up into the tub. Cabinets were broken, drawers fell out and one dresser didnt have a front on the drawer. A lovely sewer smell imminated from the kitchen even after a gallon of flabuloso. The pans in the cabinet were so filthy they had to be scrubbed before use and were stained with crust that burned on the stovetop and smelled like the tar from a pipe. The bed was a bit soft but the sheets were so cheap it was like thrift store cheapest. The sidewalk outside is uneven, be careful No fire escape, fire extinguisher etc
