This place is beautiful. We loved every moment of the stay, especially drinking coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the field. Communication with the owner was exceptional as well.

Country living just like home.

Beautiful property close to Gastonia. Exactly what we were looking for. Close to everything but in the country just like home.

Great stay

Beautiful property on a quiet dead end road. I was in town for work and the house was perfect. I was working nights and still slept wonderfully. Very comfortable bed and blackout curtains. I hope it’s available again when I’m back in town.

Woodland Setting

This house is located on a beautiful woodland property. The accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. The appliances were plentiful and up-to-date including the many Amazon Echo Dots! If you are looking for a quiet, clean and very comfortable retreat, you will truly love this property!

My family stayed at Shelli’s home for 2 days. You can tell that she put work into upgrading the property because it was beautifully decorated and welcoming. The house was clean and had the amenities we needed. Checking in was easy! And Shelli was accommodating on allowing an early check-in and later check-out. We loved sitting outside watching the sunrise and sunset! The only issue during our stay was the bedrooms were hotter than what we would have at home, granted we stayed during a week of extreme heat advisory. With the rooms being warmer , it was not unbearable and thankfully, there were fans available, which helped at night. Otherwise, we loved our stay and definitely recommend the property! We will definitely stay again!

We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the home, the peaceful sunrises and sunsets, and that the early check-in and late check-out helped make your stay even more enjoyable. We also really appreciate your feedback about the bedroom temperatures. During the recent extreme heat, we noticed the same concern and immediately looked into ways to improve it. We actually had additional attic insulation installed this evening to help the home stay much cooler during periods of extreme heat. We're hopeful this will solve the issue and ensure future guests are comfortable no matter the weather. Thank you again for staying with us and for recommending our home. We'd love to host you and your family again in the future!

Charming home in lovely rural setting

This place is a gem! It's a beautiful lovingly and completely newly remodeled 3 BR home that is in a serene rural setting with acres of green to surround you. Yet, it's just under 15 minutes to Gastonia and under 10 minutes to a fabulous humungous grocery store and other conveniences. There's also a lovely family run farm store very close by for locally grown produce and fruits as well as other home baked goods. The owners were superb with communications and set it up for me to check in early because of nasty weather patterns. The pictures don't fully do the place justice, I'd say it's even nicer that the pictures suggest. I stayed here for just about 2 weeks and I'd definitely be back!
