Stunning property, luxurious (kid friendly) accommodations

We had the most magical stay at Madrone Springs Ranch. Our two young boys loved meeting all the animals and exploring the grounds (hiking through the creek and catching minnows). The house had everything we could possibly need for the kids and ourselves (including luxurious monogrammed robes!). Our hosts were so hospitable and made us feel like part of their family. Highly recommend for a family trip, couples getaway or girls weekend!

Wow!

We had an unbelievable time at the ranch. Bobby and Gail are amazing hosts - warm, inviting, and gracious - and the accommodations and food are 5-star ++! What ranch has a fully equipped gym, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, yoga studio, and a beautiful stream to swim or relax in, Bobby and Gail think of everything - from robes and slippers indoors to watershoes, hiking sticks, and smore's fixing for unique outdoor experiences. The water was warm and relaxing and the scenery on the hiking trails remarkable. Just when you think you are getting tired, there is a bench or vista point to relax on. We returned home relaxed and refreshed - and thinking about when we will return to "nurture in nature".

The vibes and views were immaculate!

We had the most perfect stay at the ranch!!! The decor, amenities, and hospitality were impeccable down to the last detail. The house and views were breathtaking. The pictures truly do not do it justice. The house is massive and the views are expansive. We stayed at the ranch for 5 days, and we still didn't take advantage of even half of the incredible activities and amenities on the property!!!! Bobby is an absolutely unbelievable cook, and I'm still dreaming of the liege waffles!!! Bobby and Gail are truly the most gracious and incredible hosts. After our trip we came back relaxed and restored after nurturing in nature. We would 10 out of 10 recommend and book again!!!

Beautiful house next to a creek and surrounded by nature

Our 3-generations of family (10 of us!) really enjoyed the ranch house. Plenty of room to spread out, hang in the family room, dine at the large table. We prepared some meals and found everything we needed. Not to mention, all of the fixings for smores! The little ones loved playing in the creek, especially using the provided nets for minnow catching. Everything was high end; comfortable beds, great linens and extra towels right in the bathroom! Bobby and Gail took all of us on "sherpa" tours of the ranch where we visited all of the amazing animals. Highlights were feeding and petting the kangaroos, gathering fresh eggs from the chickens and feeding the alpacas. We had several chef-prepared meals which were amazing, varied and delicious! Thanks so much, Bobby and Gail, for being such wonderful hosts! We would love to return again and again :)

Amazing getaway at a luxury ranch!

Wow! This stay was absolutely wonderful. From the pre-trip communication to the arrival and throughout our stay, our hosts Bobby and Gail were so attentive to our needs and desires! And to things we didn't know we needed. Our luxury accommodations were well stocked with anything and everything we would want. One of our favorites was the smores kit! I have never slept better--the combination of luxury sheets and location must have done it! We loved that we were the only group there so we had plenty of privacy. Our family all enjoyed the hikes, the gorgeous swimmable creek and all of the amenities at the lodge--full fitness studio, yoga studio, sauna and cold plunge as well as an outdoor hot tub. Do take advantage of Chef Bobby's incredible cooking!! And both Bobby and Gail made us feel like friends visiting. Our favorite, though, has to be all of the exotic animals as well as the non-exotic animals like chickens, ducks, donkeys and alpacas! We were lucky enough to see lots of the babies too. What an experience to remember. We will definitely be back!!

A Truly Magical Stay – 5 Stars!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this ranch would be a special experience. The journey from the Austin airport was easy, and the property’s vastness became clear as we drove past herds of deer and gemsbock. The Ranch House was stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the wilderness and creek. The spacious accommodations were perfect for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 small children), with thoughtful touches like pack-and-plays and kid beds. The luxurious beds ensured everyone slept well. One favorite moment was enjoying coffee on the rocking chairs overlooking the creek, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. With 200 acres to ourselves, we felt completely disconnected from the outside world and truly reconnected with each other. The kids loved meeting the alpacas, donkeys, and kangaroos, guided safely by Bobby and Gail. Walking paths and a sandy creekside area provided more adventures. Chef-prepared meals like Asian Fusion, Mexican cuisine, and a Thanksgiving feast made our stay even more special. One evening, the yoga studio became a cozy movie theater for the kids, allowing adults uninterrupted time nearby. Bobby and Gail’s exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made this an unforgettable trip. This ranch is perfect for a luxurious, private retreat. We can’t wait to return!
