Our 4 nights and days spent here were delightful. The patio is a lovely place to spend time, day or night, around the fish pond. The house was comfortable and well equipped for cooking or leisure. The surrounding grounds had hiking trails where we enjoyed birding. The hosts who live on the property were helpful and gracious. We had a great family outing!

This was the fourth year that I (82 years old) and my two adult daughters stayed at the Vista Country Home. All four of our stays have been wonderful. The location is extremely beautiful within the surrounding farmlands. The facilities are just perfect for us. With my mobility limitations, I am glad that all the rooms of importance to me are on one floor with no steps to get up or down. There is a lower bedroom area where one daughter stays, but i didn't need to go down there. There is a large patio area with a fish pool and an open sided pavilion where my outdoors daughters "lived" except for going to bed at night. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the "tools" and dishes to make and eat meals. There is also a large grill outside on the patio. The host and hostess live right on the surrounding farm and are very pleasant and responsive to any questions we have. The first day, she brought us a large basket of delicious vegetables from their garden. The Vista Country Home has been the perfect vacation place for my family. A big "Thank you" to my hosts.

Our family came to celebrate the 97th and 100th birthday of my grandmother and grandfather. My grandparents were able to come over for dinner one evening and really liked this rental!

Outstanding place for a family trip to Gettysburg

Secluded and Quiet Yet Convenient

Absolutely beautiful home and location. Felt like we were all alone but we were only minutes from Westminster. Perfect place to get away from it all and not give up places to eat and places to visit.

Taneytown family visit

Vista was the perfect place for our family to stay while in town to celebrate with extended family! Whenever we weren’t at dinners and get togethers we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the views and wildlife at Vista. The accommodations were perfectly suited to our needs!

Taneytown, Md Farm

This is a fantastic spot to visit with friends and family. The nearby towns have good restaurants and Gettysburg is only 30 minutes away. There are a handful of trails to walk around the farm, or you can relax on the patio. It was perfect for our visit and highly recommend it.

Vista is our home away from home when in the Westminster area visiting family.

Vista is so peaceful with its open fields, lively bird activity, with warm and accommodating hosts. It's hard to leave.

Wonderful home!!!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. Very relaxing with beautiful views of the rolling hills. We will hopefully be returning the next time we are in town. The owners are precious and the fresh flowers were such a nice personal touch. Plan your next trip to Maryland and make sure you stay at Vista country home!

Relaxing seclusion in nature

The host Melissa was very friendly and easy to contact. She met us at the place to show us around. The lodging was just as listed and had everything we needed. The 100 acre property is beautiful with walking trails and lots of wildlife to be seen.
