We had a lovely time in the cute cottage on Shawano Lake. We had everything we needed for a great family get together. We enjoyed fishing, boating (rented), and a bonfire. Highly recommend for a large group.

Excellent place to stay. The owners are excellent ready to answer any questions Plenty of games for kids to play. We had a great time will definitely rent here again. Thank you for all the memories me and family and friends made here. Until next time Ty again

Other than receiving the wrong door code to get in (we got ahold of them and were inside within 10 minutes) everything was great. It was a great location for the wedding we attended and we had a great time. Lots of extras, no bare minimum here! I would totally recommend this place to stay.

Our mini family reunion was a success at this comfortable, kid-friendly house on a quiet street, with a mini beach/sand pile, paddle boat and lots of other toys and games! The two bathrooms with showers worked well for the 9 of us, plenty of hot water. We loved being able to sit around the fire pit and on the dock at night. Some of the mattresses should be replaced, the only downer. Otherwise, a very comfortable place to relax and reconnect with family.

Sounds like your reunion was a great success. So happy that you all enjoyed the many games, toys, sandy mini beach, and paddleboat. You're so right that the area is kid friendly and quiet. It's great that you enjoyed making campfires in the fire pit and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The dock in the evenings is one of our family favorites too. Happy to hear that you were all comfortable and had lot's of hot water, that's essential when you have a large group. We're sorry that you felt a mattress at the beach house did not meet your expectations. And was a "downer". I do wish you might have mentioned which of the eleven beds you did not like. None of the beds are old, but we certainly understand that a mattress is a very individual thing.

What a great cottage on the lake! There was plenty of room both for sleeping and family area. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils needed for our many chefs. A big variety of board games was perfect for the few times of rain. It is a great area for kayaking and paddle boarding as there was not a lot of boat traffic. Hope to be back next year.
