This was our third trip to Lighthouse on the Bay and we love it! If you’re a first timer, make sure to bring your own floats for the lazy river and you can ask the security at the front desk to inflate them for you. Staff is super friendly! Property has always been clean and orderly.

This was our second stay in this wonderful property! It’s a great location with easy access to anything- beach, restaurants, shopping, gas, etc.. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed in! Everything is provided, although I do recommend bringing extra essentials if you’re staying longer than 2 days. Never issues with noise or bothersome staff. Checking in and out is easy and fast too. Very spacious condo and balcony, and we enjoy the indoor/outdoor pools. Beautiful views despite not being beachfront. I just really cannot complain about this property or our experience! Highly recommend!

Check in to check out was very smooth! Contacted host with a concern and the reply was spontaneous. Great location close to everything but yet just enough away to be peaceful. Beautiful pool, bbq and mini beach access was very tranquil. The condo was clean with great beds. The pillows were quite hard an flat and no amenities in the kitchen. Bring your own coffeee,tea sugar etc. Accidentally left something behind and was told they would ship it back to us, how wonderful of them. Overall loved our stay

Unit was exceptional and just as expected. The owner was very responsive prior to arrival. Never had to reach out during the stay. SIDE NOTE: if you need to rent a boat slip at the complex, reach out DIRECTLY to management at the property NOT Brett Robinson. That part was a nightmare for us!!!! In the end it was made right but not until after much chaos to start.

Great property but unit needs to add basics

First, the property was wonderful. We had a great time at the lazy river and enjoyed the view immensely. Unit was clear but bare. The kitchen didn’t even have salt! We like staying in VRBOs because of the homey vibes and amenities. This unit left us running to the grocery store twice in a weekend for kitchen essentials. Overall, I would stay on property again but not this unit.

The folks at Alabama Get Aways were super responsive. The responses were always timely and all the help that they provided was very valuable. I never had to wait for a response and they worked hard to make sure that we were comfortable during our whole day. The unit was very clean well stocked and the whole property is lovely with lots of options and outdoor pool lazy river indoor pools Jacuzzis tennis court above and a basketball court beside. The unit was lovely. Only suggestion would be to change out the air filters so the unit smells more fresh. We bought a couple of Glade plug-ins and resolved the issue very well. Thank you so much for accommodating our extra guest who slept on the fold out bed with air mattresses. It made her sleeping situation ideal. Overall this unit in Alabama getaways was a very pleasant experience and we will be back!
