Our family loved this home. We had an easy walk to the dock and enjoyed the lake daily. The additional charge to use the lake amenities was not expensive but came as a surprise. Regardless, we loved our time away in this quiet, peaceful home.

The property was accurately depicted in the pictures. Everything was perfect, with the exception of the propane tank being empty. However, despite that, it was a very peaceful and clean environment, well-equipped with essential kitchen items, including commonly used seasonings. All appliances, such as the fireplace, TV, Air cooling system, washer and dryer etc, were in working order. We will most certainly return and highly recommend it to others.

Little touches like commonly used seasonings in the kitchen are things we hope guests notice, so this review was a treat to read. Wonderful to hear the home matched the photos and that everything from the fireplace to the laundry worked just as it should. Overall good stay. House was well maintained and as advertised. Host was sporadic with communication. Sometimes quick to respond and at other times would take hours to days to get a response.

Rooms very clean. Since it snowed the night before, entrance to deck and front door not cleared. Amenities in home was good, blender and toaster was not working. Overall enjoyed the stay.

The check was very easy and the kitchen was well stocked better than most we stayed at… the only concern we had was the hot tub as I did not leave chlorine tablets by the second day it was not suitable for getting in

Area and neighborhood were beautiful was peaceful. Short walk on to dock for fishing. House and property were keep clean and grounds well maintained. Nice outside deck and hot tub was nice too. Also had nice outdoor gas fire pit with chairs for toasting marshmallows. Nice indoor electric fireplace as well. Wish the house came with kayaks to use on the lake(s).

We were notified a couple of days prior to our arrival that the a/c was not working in the home, however the host had installed window a/c units in all bedrooms and living area. Which seemed fine until all we discovered the units had to be emptied every few hours. (Unplug the unit, take to a bathroom and empty the water out) so that was inconvenient and frustrating especially at night. And because it is July, a/c is a requirement. The Roku TV’s also proved to be frustrating. The downstairs TV could not access the free live TV and the upstairs TV was not even connected. The amenities passes instructions were confusing and felt like a bit of a money grab. The exterior of the house was a little run down and could use some upkeeping. On a positive note, the walkway down to the private lake was delightful and great for fishing.

Mountain retreat

Beautiful house in the mountains! House he almost everything we needed. Plenty of sleeping space for our family of 7. Wish the hot tub was on the deck, it didn’t get much use from us since it was around the back, but it was clean and enjoyable. Deer came up to the deck daily to be fed, my kids loved that! Thanks for a lovely week :)

We had a great family getaway for 4th of July holidays. The property is located in a beautiful, calm and cozy place, close to lakes, beaches, outdoor pool and 2 water parks. There is everything you’ll where during your vacation - 3 nice bedrooms 1 smaller room with 2 beds (can be used for kids), 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 2 leaving rooms/common spaces, hot tub and beautiful yard. Check in and check out was easy, door code was received couple of days in advance of our trip. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Avant Stay for making our first trip to Poconos unforgettable. We will be glad to come back!

The home was unfortunately a major disappointment, especially for the high nightly price. The outdoor furniture was dirty upon arrival, and the overall condition of the house did not feel well maintained. The first floor was much smaller than portrayed in the listing photos, with a stuffy layout that lacked the open feel we were expecting.The furniture on the first floor was very flimsy and uncomfortable. The couch in particular felt like it was going to collapse anytime more than one person sat on it. The toaster was also broken during our stay, which added to the frustration.Overall, the entire home lacked warmth and comfort, making it hard to truly relax and enjoy what was supposed to be a holiday weekend getaway. For the price being charged, we expected a far better experience, and this stay ended up being a significant letdown.

Our stay was smooth and this house made for a comforatable stay! We enjoyed our it overall. My only complaints are that there was no propane when we were told new tanks would be dropped off and the wifi didn't really work. I would stay here again!
