Thanks for staying with us, so sorry you felt “dismissive”, we thought we bent over backwards. We take your comfort very very seriously. Timeline: You reported the problem at noon on your 2nd day of stay, we replied in 8 minutes but you were not available to discuss. You returned 4 hours later, so we called within 20 minutes. We talked, you said only the downstairs sink hot water was working and not the showers upstairs. But your guest overheard us and corrected saying he had just taken a hot shower upstairs. Then 4 hours later you called back saying no hot water at all. Our manager came over within 30 minutes. We then called 5 plumbers, only one called back next morning (3rd day) and we informed you the earliest he could arrive was in the afternoon. He came and replaced filter in 30 minutes. All was fixed in less than 24 hours on this 3-day holiday—it would have been fixed much sooner but we were 2nd caller. In short, we jumped at every communication with you and got it serviced immediately—we are eager to improve this process as it’s very important we want your stay to be perfect. Regarding missing colander and can opener, you never shared with us during your stay, we can’t fix what we don’t know is broken/missing. Being informed is highly important to us so we can be involved in providing a solution. Thanks again for staying, glad you loved the house space and lake location.

Glad you extended your stay despite claims of HVAC “issues”, which turns out to be operator errors—all minisplits must be set on the same setting (AC or heat). Sorry if there are language barrier issues, as our instructions are very detailed. No other issues from other guests. And our cleaners double checked that one of the device was set on heat (not the snowflake). Thanks!

So glad you enjoyed the house especially its location being a stone's throw from the lake and amenities (shops, cafes, etc). Most Seattle homes do not have AC (mine doesn’t), as it's rare to get weather in the low 80s. And having 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms kinda maxed out our electrical panel so the top two floors got AC. It sounds like you didn't see the fans in the laundry room closet. Anyway, on those rare days, we locals hit the lake or the movie theaters. Thanks again for staying with us.

So sorry about the check-out time, that is a much-needed request from our cleaners as it's a huge challenge to meet the VRBO and CDC health sanitizing Covid cleaning protocols especially a very big home of 4,000-plus square feet like ours. And, for you, when they finished early, it allows a much earlier check-in such. We will continue working with out cleaning company to improve this process. Thanks!
