Step into the Inks Suite, one of six Refurbished Historical Landmarks at McKenzie Guest House. Originally built in 1907, this charming establishment holds a rich history of welcoming travelers from near and far.

This spacious suite is a haven where charm meets timeless comfort. The kitchen welcomes you with stainless steel kitchen appliances and all of the cooking basics required for meal-prep.

In the bedroom, find respite in the embrace of a comfortable king-size bed, while you will find sleek subway tiles in the bathroom, giving you a neat glimpse into the historic aspect of the home. The living room is furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa, inviting moments of relaxation and shared laughter, accommodating up to four guests.

Additional comforts in this suite include a washer/dryer for added convenience, a wall-mounted Roku TV for entertainment, and an en-suite bathroom adorned with a comforting tub/shower combination.

Step into this cherished retreat, where memories are made amidst the comforts of genuine hospitality.

Things To Know:
-These charming suites are part of a shared building, each offering its own unique ambiance and amenities. Additionally, for those seeking a collective experience, all six units can be booked together, providing a perfect setting for family reunions, group getaways, or intimate celebrations amidst the historic charm of the McKenzie Guest House.
-The main building, standing tall as the original two-story hotel, once provided respite to stagecoach travelers and offered lodging and meals for the modest sum of 25 cents!
-1 dog is welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific SunnyDays approval.
-Please note the pet fee in your booking is 'per pet'. If you're booking more than 1 pet, the additional pet fee of $80.00 (plus tax) will be required to be paid after booking.
- Internal and external steps are required for access
- There are other bookable vacation rentals on-site that share the deck, picnic area, and grill with this unit; other travelers may be present during your stay

Very cute and clean room!! Right by all the shopping and eateries. Nice live music close by on Saturday night. We enjoyed our stay!

Spring around Texas

Cutest property right in Marble Falls. Literally we could walk to all the shops and restaurants. We loved the side porch. The space in the apartment was perfect for us. We never cooked so can’t speak as how that would work. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! The only even slightly negative was: the rolled up bath Mat designed to prevent slippage in the tub was mildewed and had an odor. It was probably rolled up wet. Otherwise everything was so clean. We hope to stay again !

Well suited for budget traveler

We really appreciated the washer and dryer and the layout of the bathroom. The bed was much softer than what we are used to. There was no pit in the center which was a joy. I appreciated the bed linens. It made it feel homey Living room furniture was not very comfortable especially as we were convalescing after surgery. I would have appreciated a more comfortable couch, also the kitchen was not well stocked. There were not enough hot pads or hand towels for drying dishes. There was also only one dishwasher cleaning pod included. I would have appreciated using the dishwasher for our week long stay. Also, more cooking pots would have been very helpful as well as small, condiment bowls. The blender was very weak but I appreciated having a blender option.It was a peaceful stay, except for Friday, and Saturday nights in which the local bar provided a very loud ruckus noise until two in the morning.The AC unit in the living area had mold in the filter, so we exclusively used the bedroom unit for the entire apartment.The manager of the unit did allow us to check out six hours after the noted check out time we greatly appreciated that ability to come back to the unit after our morning doctor appointments.The unit was also clean. For the price I appreciated the unit but if I had more money, I would’ve stayed somewhere a little bit more stocked and comfortable.

Great Location and Relaxing Property

Close to the action in Marble Falls. Close to regional state parks and looking forward to coming back.
