Everything was good! Just a heads up that the picture of the room with multiple beds could be better if it was labeled that it was a separate locked entrance.

Great place for two families to enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very clean and comfortable. Very easy to cook meals in the well stocked kitchen.

Great Place to Stay

Our Happy Place is walking distance to shops and beach, has a great open layout and plenty of space for everyone. The upstairs deck has a view of the ocean and comfortable seating. I highly recommend Our Happy Place!

Great spot.

My wife and I had a very relaxing time. This a great home especially for families. Close enough to town to walk anywhere. Big roomy and a view of the beach from the back deck. We will stay again and let our friends know.

Excellent spot for us!

We love this house because it is so near to our family's home. When we have lots of family gather, this is a perfect "spill-over" spot. Even though it is pet friendly, it was very clean and we didn't notice dog hair/dander/fleas. We'd rent this house again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the property. The great room, dining area, kitchen, and upper deck were spacious and accommodated our family and friends for dinners and hanging out. The deck gets good sun and is protected from the wind, which makes it a nice alternative for days that are too windy to sit on the beach. We made dinner almost every night and appreciated the well-appointed kitchen (but we couldn't get the food processor to work, it could be broken). The bedrooms are okay: one is pretty small and could use a dresser inside the closet. As other commenters have pointed out, the lower-level bedroom suite is accessible only through the garage or an outside door however, the separation makes it nice for a family w/little kids or a couple that would appreciate a little distance from the rest of the crowd. We loved the proximity to the beach, Laneda shops and restaurants, grocery store, and Friday farmer's market. The house is close enough to the Oregon Coast Trail and we did a Neahkanie Mountain hike starting at our front door (8 miles round trip). The only issue we had during our stay was with the WiFi, which was spotty at times and completely out the last few days we were there.

The commons space was beautiful and perfect for our group of 8. The kitchen had every little random thing we needed. The sunsets over the ocean viewable from the deck were spectacular. The beds were comfy. The layout of the downstairs rooms was a little problem for us. Renters should know that there's no door between the rooms and that the bathroom is off the inner room, so really, these two rooms should be considered to be one.

Hi Diana, We are so happy you loved your stay and we are sorry if the downstairs bedroom was not what you expected. Just for clarification we only list the downstairs as one bedroom and we note that there is no door between the rooms. In our listing we state: Outside, down the stairs, and through the laundry room, you will find the 4th bedroom. Great for teens or couples with kids wanting separation from the house. The bedroom has two twin beds and an opening to another room with a full-size bed. Attached to the room is a full bathroom with a shower and tub combination. We do hope we'll see you again.

Great getaway for a girls' weekend!

We loved this house — it had plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies, a great living space upstairs, and really clean bathrooms and bedrooms. The bedrooms were on the small side, but that worked for us, since we wanted to spend time upstairs together. We could walk to the farmers' market in under a minute and "downtown" in under five minutes. We also enjoyed the fire pit!
