A truly magical family getaway! This beautiful wooden cabin offers breathtaking mountain views, a cozy interior, and warm, thoughtful decor. We loved being able to enjoy a crackling fire in the fireplace and simply unwind surrounded by nature. Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy throughout our stay. A wonderful breath of fresh air and a little slice of paradise for the whole family. We would love to come back!

Kathy and Chris were very responsive, and Chris was nice enough to show us around the cabin when we checked in. Lovely cabin with a very cool fireplace, and the views were incredible. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful stay and Kathy and Chris do an amazing job with communicating very quickly! Chris had so much information about the surrounding area, walking paths, access areas, etc. It was very helpful. The home is well stocked and cozy. The scenery is beautiful. We would stay there again with no hesitation.

The cabin was cozy and quiet. The views out back were gorgeous at dusk and calming in the morning. Kathy and Chris were friendly, very responsive, and helpful with instructions on how to get to the cabin as well. Honestly was the perfect weekend getaway.

Enjoyed our stay at the Blue Span cabin over a rainy Memorial Day weekend. Road and driveway were not an issue for vehicles with lower ground clearance and proximity to activities was close, but still far enough off the beaten path to feel secluded.

Thank you. Even on a Rainy weekend the Clouds on the Blue Ridge Mountains put on a show for our guests allowing you to relax and cares float away during your get-a-way. The roof over the front allow you to sit outside and enjoy natures show, sip a drink, and stay completely dry as you relax.

We stayed at this property over a spring weekend. Cabin was perfect for our needs. A well equipped space where we could cook and enjoy the amazing mountain view. Peaceful and very quiet.

Kathy and Chris were such amazing hosts and provide such a great cabin for guests to stay in. Chris gave us a quick walkthrough and answered any of our questions when we arrived. This is a beautiful place to go and unwind, and have some good peace and quiet.It is rural and private, but not too far from stores, etc.The fireplace is cozy, and a welcoming gathering area!We have had many visits, and will return!
