We had a lovely stay at this cottage filled with rustic charm. The sunroom was a great place to spend time in, especially during rainy days because it felt as if you were still outside. The beach and the view was spectacular, as was the firepit area.

Loved the cottage. Its was a perfect place for family getaway. The only inconvenience throughout the stay was mice were there and we were not able to sleep both nights.

Wonderful Relaxing Muskoka escape.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay with our family. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and we loved how peaceful and private it was. We will absolutely stay here again. The beach area was very relaxing and we all had a great time in the lake and by the fire. The cottage gave a very authentic Muskoka cottage experience .Exactly what we were looking for.!!

The cottage was indicative of a well loved and well looked after property. Its historical and rustic setting was peaceful and interesting. The common space was great for family and offered both communal and private opportunities. Everything was there that you would need including boats and indoor and outdoor games. It was nice to have linens provided and Sprucedale is close by for needed supplies. Our family thoroughly enjoyed their week away

Beautiful Escape

We enjoyed ourselves here! It really did feel like a home away from home. Very cute & rustic cottage with all the essentials you would need. The cottage was beautiful with so many details & interesting decor. We spent most of our time outside in the back by the beach area. It had a very private feel to it. The hosts are fantastic & very easy to communicate with. We will definitely return!

Very cute cottage in an excellent location. Right on the water, nicely secluded but not too far from Huntsville. Quiet. We loved using the kayaks, the canoe and the peddle boat that were included and also took advantage of the motor boat (extra fee). Perfect! Swimming isn't the best right outside the cottage but there is a boat launch very close where swimming is great. The fire pit is awesome too. Loved our week at the cottage. Nothing really critical to say, except that the mosquitoes were bad - but nothing some bug spray can't fix. The cottage itself is really authentic, with a lot of charm, and the kitchen has everything you need.

Family Fun

We stayed at this cottage for 3 nights with our family. It had everything we needed. The views were fabulous and we loved how quiet it was. When we first arrived everyone had fun looking around at all of the interesting decor. There was a lot of “oh wow look at this, come see this and that’s so cool!” We were a group of 7 and there was more than enough room for everyone. The dining table was perfect for everyone to gather around to eat and play games. Being able to see the water from the back room was wonderful. We made use of the cute bunkie up by the road. The compost toilet worked great. The beach was nice and private. We enjoyed relaxing by the water, the kayaks, the canoe, and the peddle boat. We caught 3 pickerel in the peddle boat and canoe. The fire pit on the beach was very nice. We would rent this cottage again. Great fun and great memories!

Kirk was a great host. Communication was fast. Cottage had everything you need. Bunkie surpassed my expectations. A real rustic charm. We would definitely return.
