New Kid On The Block! Near Frenchman & Bourbon Street

I hope you find this 100 year old shotgun layout (please research if you are not familiar with this layout) as magical as I. It offers original hardwood floors, 3 decorative fire places and high ceilings situated in a quiet neighborhood of New Marigny. Within walking distance to Bourbon and Frenchman Streets it serves as the perfect retreat. Mardi Gras Parade route only two blocks away and 10 minute drive to New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for those coming in for the festivals.

You'll find everything you need in my new space. Equipped with wifi, tv, roku, internet, memory foam pillows, stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee and tea, toaster, microwave, stove etc), washer & dryer, towels and toiletries. Being a new Vrbo host, I welcome any feedback for suggestions and/or compliments! I hope you'll find all you need to make yourselves a home away from home.

LOVE NOLA!

Wonderful time and wonderful place to stay while in NOLA. Cool restaurants close by and fun to walk around the neighborhood.

Taste of real 21st Century New Orleans

I grew up in New Orleans a LONG time ago and was back for a few birthdays and Jazz Fest. I was super grateful to find this shotgun home available - not the Ritz but that's why I love New Orleans. This home is very real New Orleans and only a few blocks from the Marigny, Bywater and other post-Katrina very cool developing neighborhoods. Everything you need is right inside and the old amazing city, and the new one emerging, is right outside. Thanks!

Great spot for the Super Bowl!

We booked last second for a trip to New Orleans for the Super Bowl when the hotel situation was a nightmare! I am extremely happy we found this listing as the price was fair, the house was large and probably big enough to easily accompany 2 couples 2 more if needed.Host allowed me to check in early as well which was great! Neighborhood is fine and home is very safe, you can feel safe walking to FQ during the day, but we mostly just Ubered anyways as it was very easy to get one, quick, and cheapWould definitely stay again!

Excellent location, beautiful house!

We were super happy with our stay here! Two of our group were flying in at 6am and our gracious host Jodi allowed us to check in early so we didn't have to lug our baggage around town until 4pm (as there were no guests the night before, they could make an exception for us). The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and the shower was hot. We were here during Halloween and were able to walk or take a short Lyft to wherever we needed to go. We felt very secure in the neighborhood and our vehicle had plenty of space to park right outside the place on the street. Would definitely stay here again!

Unpleasant

Terrible neighborhood, back yard was an unkept unusable jungle, mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. Ac in kitchen sounded like a freighter.

Great Place to Stay

I had a great stay in the New Marginy neighborhood. The host was friendly and the check in process was a breeze. The location is great for exploring some local areas, but Frenchman street is just a 10 minute walk away.
