We enjoyed our stay with an easy walk to town for dinners and shopping, and walking along the ocean bluff. Quiet location, clean home with comfortable beds, and all amenities we needed. Short drive to long wide beach north of town - you can walk for miles!

Absolutely lovely stay. Very clean, safe, warm quiet little getaway with a river view. We loved the sunroof with a lemon tree a beautiful garden outside and nice neighbors. The host was exceptional and always available. We hope to stay again.

Great place for a weekend stay on the Oregon Coast! Loved the place and location on the river and by the ocean and the town of Yachats. So many coastal parks close by. The host is very accommodating and the place has all the amenities listed. Would recommend highly.

House was spacious, comfortable and cozy for three of us. Easy walk to Yachats and beach. Everything clean and tidy. Friendly Owner communicated well with us and promptly if any needs or questions.

Down by the River

For nature lovers, this is an ideal setting on the bank of the Yachats River. The house is a cozy family home, a lovely interior, a perfect deck for wildlife watching or just relaxing and daydreaming.Marilyn was a very thoughtful hostess and very responsive, making our stay most enjoyable. My husband and I are looking forward to returning for another stay!

Cute simple house. Very homey. Check it was simple and quick. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Loved watching the wildlife. Owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with.

We loved sitting in the sun room each morning to read as passersby stopped to admire the owner's flowers off the back deck. Friendly neighbors with an active pickleball group during summer months. We had everything we needed. Much appreciated.

Beautiful home overlooking the Yachats river. Easy walk into downtown. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed. Very cosy. Just what we were looking for. Great communication with our host, who was helpful and accommodating. We have stayed at dozens of vacation homes and apartments from Oregon to Puerto Rico. This just might be our favorite.

Lovely home; Beautiful location

I spent a month at Marilyn’s house to enjoy a change of scenery while working remotely. The internet connection is great for remote work. Aside from a very brief provider outage, I had no issues during my stay. If you work in the sunroom, you get to watch the wildlife along the river—I had a few rabbits hop right up to the window, and watched plenty of herons soar by. The home itself is incredibly warm and cozy. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is fully furnished with everything needed for an extended stay. I ordered grocery delivery right to the house, and had all the cookware I needed for meal preparation. Marilyn is a kind, thoughtful, communicative host. She’s been in the area many years and had great recommendations for nearby activities! I loved walking into town for the Sunday morning farmer’s market, as well as evening walks along the beach or into town for dinner. Cape Perpetua is minutes down the 101, and has gorgeous coastline and hiking trails. if you’re looking for a laid-back, nature-filled, coastal getaway, this is it! A serene setting and beautiful home: I’m so glad I got to experience it.

Marilyn was a fantastic host. Her property is beautiful and very well taken care of! My daughter and I loved visiting Yachats and staying in her home. Our favorite parts were the solarium and the river view outside the back door. We would definitely like to stay here again!

This lovely home was a perfect place to relax as it had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants. All of the people we met in the neighborhood were friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect location as it made driving to other beaches convenient for more beach fun and rockhounding. The host was a dream to work with and wanted to make sure that we had a special time as she knew what this weekend meant for the family. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Do NOT hesitate to book this property! It exceeds the listing description in all ways. Spotless. Fabulous location. Comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Delightful sun room. Well appointed kitchen. Two lovely full baths. This is a Home. Plus, a host who communicates in a timely, professionally friendly manner. We made it our base for two days to explore the area and the location was perfect for our explorations between Yachats and Florence. No hesitation to highly recommend!
