This place was perfect for me and my son to spend a weekend at Red River Gorge! The host gave great instructions. It is helpful to have a jeep, or 4x4 car to get back to the cabin, but trekking back there in our Bronco became part of the fun as we came and went to various hikes and activities around the area.

Very nice cabin. Cute on the inside and we loved the hot tub. The route in has some steep roads so I agree with the host of having a capable SUV with AWD. We took my wife’s FWD Buick Envision and it worked.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Glad we had a 4X4 jeep for the hills and stream crossings! We definitely recommend this property.

The cabin was cozy & clean! It had anything you would need for your stay! The host is also very good at communication, he answered ALL of my questions. I would definitely recommend this place to someone!

We loved this cabin so much!!! Unfortunately, there were issues with the water pump and we had to find a new rental for most of our planned weekend. The owner was amazing to work with us through this issue and made the situation as easy as possible. I would (and hope to) stay there again!!!

Peaceful Paradise

Cabin was clean, with comfortable beds and had all the amenities you could possibly need, even snacks! Beautiful cabin! Close enough to hiking trails but far enough from city noises.

Cabin in the Woods

Lovely cabin close to nature areas. Enjoyed listening to a great variety of birds from the deck. Private & peaceful space to relax.

The house was exactly as pictured. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway and so much more. The host, Travis, was very responsive and really thought of everything. The self check-in feature was a nice touch. The explicit directions made it easy to find and the Red River Gorge was close by. We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was perfect and the coziness and peacefulness of the cabin was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

My daughter is getting married so me, her, her sisters and Maid of Honor took a girls weekend trip as her Bachelorette party. We all needed to relax and catch our breath and thats exactly what we got to do. The cabin was clean upon arrival and everything in working order. The decor was her wedding colors which we found amusing. The hot tub was very clean. I only needed to call Travis for one thing, he answered immediately and walked me through what I needed assistance with. We only left once to eat out other that that we sat around chatting, played some games and just relaxed. And thats what we needed, no kids, no work and no wedding planning! We might decide to do this more often.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! This is a perfect place for a family getaway. The beds were super comfortable and it's really nice to have three in the loft for the kiddos. We enjoyed playing a couple of the many board games and the Legos and toys were put to good use! The hot tub is really nice too! We did make it up the steep gravel lane in our Kia Carnival but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not used to driving on gravel or snow and I was really glad we arrived during daylight hours.

Cute, Cozy, and well equipped

My daughter and I made the trip from DE to KY for the gorge underground and local hiking. The lucky lodge is located in a somewhat secluded area with a few other cabins around. Getting to the cabin was a bit challenging as the road has 2 small water crossings and very steep climbs but it’s def doable with 4WD. It is so cute and cozy with lots of extras including cookware, utensils, keurig. Spices, soap, dish detergent, pods, laundry detergent…the list goes on and on! We had an issue with the water which was handled promptly by the owner! We would def stay again!
