Il grande studio si trova in Santa Gertrudis Lane a Tumacacori. La posizione è assolutamente perfetta per coloro che amano la natura, le escursioni, il birdwatching, il salto da una galleria all'altra, l'equitazione e lo storico West. Questa zona dell'Arizona meridionale è piena di storia. La nostra proprietà era la posizione di una fermata del pullman da Nogales a Tucson.
La missione di Tumacacori confina con due lati della nostra proprietà di 8 acri, offrendo ai nostri visitatori un rifugio tranquillo e opportunità di esplorare facilmente la missione, il fiume De Santa de Santa Cruz e Tubac. Tubac è una piacevole escursione di 4 miglia o in bicicletta. Tubac è conosciuto come il luogo in cui "Arte e storia si incontrano". Qui potrai visitare oltre 100 gallerie, ristoranti e negozi. Tubac ha anche un parco statale e un museo dove è possibile esplorare più della storia della nostra zona.
Lo studio ha un bagno completo e cucina completa con un bar per mangiare. Lo studio può ospitare 2 persone in 2 letti singoli. C'è una piscina non riscaldata sulla proprietà che è perfetta per rinfrescarsi e ringiovanire dopo una giornata di esplorazione.
Gli animali sono i benvenuti Abbiamo anche strutture per l'imbarco di cavalli.
Tutte le nostre Casita sono state rinnovate di recente. Offriamo ai nostri ospiti alloggi che non solo riempiono il loro bisogno di un posto dove stare, ma è anche un'esperienza rilassante dove possono rinnovare il loro spirito.

Great place to post up when exploring the Sky Islands around the Santa Rita's, Patagonia's and Huachucas. Room was perfectly set up with kitchen, AC and everything you need plus the pool is a great respite from the heat during the mid-day if visiting in the Spring/Summer/Fall when it's warmer. Great value for the price. Right off the highway and super convenient too.

Nice Place

Location is around three miles or so south of Tubac. It’s right next to the Anza trail and the flowing Santa Cruz river as well as the Tumacacori Mission. Our room was pleasant and the bed quite comfortable. Would recommend as a decent place to stay.

Tubac festival

The rooms provide what you need. You can cook if you want or go to Wisdom’s and have great margaritas. The food is ok too. Very convenient for Tubac Festival! Thanks Christine!

Hidden gem

Quiet, relaxing, great paths to stroll that have deep history. Short walk to a ma n pop bar, that’s not so close to hear any noise. Will return!

Relaxing Getaway

We spent two wonderful in one of the casitas. We hiked local trails, ate at great restaurants, and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Christine’s three dogs were well behaved and a joy to have around. The fresh eggs Christine provided were amazing too! We will definitely return.

Friendly, rustic, and cozy

As others have said, this is a working family farm/ranch, and the units are converted out-buildings. Our casita was clean, sufficiently outfitted, and proximity to historic locations and hiking trails was wonderful. We enjoyed our two days, though we were disappointed not to have been awakened by one of the roosters.

Santa Gertrudis Casita

This is a unique, rural compound. The Juan Batista de Anza trail just adjacent to it which runs along the Santa Cruz River is a major asset. The trail is flat, beautiful, and there are many birds. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that the shower was lukewarm.

Very satisfied

We really loved the location and would absolutely stay again. Unit was clean and as advertised. A coffee pot would have been nice, but otherwise the kitchen had what we needed. Only downside is we had absolutely no communication from the host before during or after the stay, so getting in was a bit chaotic, and I'm glad we didn't arrive after dark. Likewise, we weren't sure what the host wanted for checkout/clean out, so we just did our best.

Coomfortable and welcoming

We came down here to escape our heat in the Phoenix area. We were SO lucky to get thunder/lightning/rain storms every afternoon--a welcomed break! The casita is comfy and furnished with some fine tables and lamps we believe are made here on site. I forgot to ask. Ad then there was the welcoming fresh eggs, butter, cream in the fridge. So thoughtful. The chickens, geese, goats, pig, mule, pony--all fun to visit daily. Everyone was so nice, the pool was amazing, and the close proximity to the Anza Trail and the Santa Cruz River wash made it perfect. Not to mention Wisdom's Cafe one mile down the road, which was delicious with great service, covered patio with yummy rain sound effects, Elvis-friendly, and live music Friday and Saturday. Great location, quick drive to Tubac and the mission. We will be back!

Three unattended dogs roaming property

My first online complaint ever: I was traveling with my dog, and upon arrival, 3 large dogs came charging at us barking, maybe a greeting, but unnerving when you’ve not been told to expect it. My dog is anxious about other dogs, even “friendly” dogs intimate him. Had I been told about 3 loose dogs roaming the property I would have looked elsewhere. Each time we tried to come and go I had to deal with this. Two workers on property witnessed my struggle, but did nothing to remedy the situation. I figured that word of the incidents would’ve made it to the owners and I wouldn’t see the dogs again. Wrong. Worse still, when I finally notified the owners they told me no one else ever complained. They put the dogs in at that point, but the correspondence felt unwelcoming. In addition, there was no hot water. When I notified the host I was told that the last guest didn’t complain and that it was set to 120 degrees. And I will assume nothing was done as they were absent and the next day still no hot water. The Wi-Fi is unreliable, which wouldn’t have been anything I complained about if it weren’t for the unpleasant experience.

Super cute & comfortable

The property is very nicely maintained. The casitas are decorated with Christine’s (the owner) stunning woodwork, and are very comfortable. It was so relaxing & a truly invigorating experience staying here. Will definitely be returning!

Quiet In the Country

We stayed here for 10 days, waiting to move into our new home. It was quiet, peaceful, even with the animals. The location was great and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of the trails close by - trying to recover from moving. The fresh eggs, fruit, cream and coffee was much appreciated. We did enjoy sitting on the front porch enjoying the day.

Tumacacori Casita

We enjoyed our stay at our casita on Santa Gertrudis Lane. We enjoyed the historic Anza Trail and historic parks associated with this trail. This ranch is right on the Santa Cruz River and Anza Trail. It is a working ranch, with livestock, which provided fresh eggs, goat cheese and entertainment for us. We were also interested in their thriving wood working business. It’s a family operation that made us feel right home. The casita had up to date appliances and a colorful Southwestern decor. The eucalyptus and Palo Verde trees were cool and shady in 90 degree weather in March.

Lovely retreat close to Tubac

We had a delightful time. The owners are friendly and have an artistic woodworking business on the property. The DeAnza trail is accessed from the property and it was a lovely way to enter the historic Tumacacori mission site. Easy to drive into Tubac for dinner. On arrival there were fresh eggs, butter, coffee, and cream in the refrigerator. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Great location

Immediately adjacent to the Anza Trail along the Santa Cruz River, this is a wonderful spot for bird watching or pleasant dog walking along the shady river corridor. You can visit the mission next door to walk all the way to the town of Tubac. The apartments are comfortable and modern, with the best lighting we've encountered in all our travels.

Nice rustic place

The casita had all the kitchen utensils we needed. Coffee, cream, eggs and fruit was a nice touch. Bath towels were better quality than I have at home. Needs a new mattress. I kept rolling to the middle. Pool area could use some sprucing up. Old beat up patio furniture and exercise equipment that doesn’t work. Great location and close to Anza trail. Plenty of privacy

Rustic charm

The setting here is great, just as described in the description. The property is very quiet ,and the bed is comfortable. That said, to enjoy the place you need to be comfortable with its limitations: some repairs needed, limited internet, etc. For us, the rustic charm and setting gave us an enjoyable stay. It's a matter of knowing what you're looking for.
