The space
Cozy and quite home-away-from-home space. And very relaxing and comfortable place in the Dover New Philadelphia area. Very close to Canton and surrounding cities.

Spacious and comfortable Dover apartment

We were surprised and delighted with the size of this 2-bedroom apartment; the pictures couldn't fully capture the space. Well-furnished and comfortable. Good location to easily get to Dover's downtown or back to the highway to explore nearby attractions.

Interesting

This property is above a business and does not have a ground floor entry. This might have been an oversight of mine during booking, however the options in Dover are extremely limited. The owner was kind and very quick to respond to issues however. The property shares the parking lot with the AutoZone, and the door only has a "deadbolt" connected to the door handle the up a large flight of stairs to the apartment. The central AC did not work, we adjusted the temp prior to leaving for dinner only to come back to it warmer than when we left. The windows do open but as it is on a main street, the road noise was so loud. One bed is just awful, it is a box spring with 2 small 6 inch thick mats stacked in top of one another that make a sheet of plywood look inviting, and the other has no box spring, just a semi-decent mattress on some slats. The living area is large, but do not move the blankets on the arm of the chair as the fabric is missing. I found some hair on the night stand from a previous stay but right before bed so not much to do at that point. I am uncomfortable leaving this type of review as the owner was super nice and seemed so genuine, but you should know what you're getting before you get the address and if you're like me and don't get the insurance, you are not entitled to the refund. I would not recommend this to anyone that has issues with the steps, I traveled with my mother who is post -op total knee is found this very challenging. would leave more if space....

Excellent accommodations

The rental we had was clean and provided plenty of room and privacy. Would stay there again. One thing would be a door handle and a outside light. Everything else was perfect.
