very relaxing and clean environment and house . easy check in and out. very quiet and heard loons calling. kayaking was fantastic and relaxing. host was able to communicate when we needed some guidance. both kids loved the hot tub and very clean too! Would easily schedule again!

We loved the location. The cabin looked just like all the pictures. We planned to do most of our meals at the cabin. Due to the description we brought all the little extras we thought we may need, spices, baggies, salt and pepper… but we were pleasantly surprised that there were more of these types of items than we expected. We hiked, biked, kayaked, and more. The cabin was very clean but like many homes it had a distinguished smell, we opened windows and enjoyed the cross breeze and fresh air. This cabin did not have any neighbors close enough that you could see them from any angle of the home. We loved that! The walk to the adjacent property was very doable and well kept. We would recommend this property to others!

Wonderful place to stay. Outdoor hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking and fishing. Quiet and peaceful. Even the pup loved it.

Great place

Wonderful small cabin on Drummond. Everything was clean and enjoyable. Our only issue at all was communication regarding checking in, but beyond that everything was great

My wife and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We agreed that this was one of our favorite VRBO's that we have stayed at. Very clean, well-appointed and very quiet. Hot tub was great; it was awesome to look up at all of the stars. Kayaks worked out perfect. Amazing sunsets just a short 2-minute walk. Please consider this place. You won't be disappointed.

We just wrapped up a truly perfect Fall weekend in Northern Michigan at the Loon Loft, and it exceeded every expectation. This property is an absolute gem on Drummond Island! The minute we walked in, we were in love with the space. It’s a stunningly comfortable log cabin—the kind of cozy, rustic place that makes you instantly relax. Everything was immaculate and the atmosphere was so peaceful. We took full advantage of the beautiful waterfront, paddling around in the kayaks on the private cove or watching the sunset and ships go by on their additional property. The autumn colors reflecting off the water were absolutely breathtaking! Relaxing in the hot tub taking in all this beautiful remote, outdoor scenery made it one of the most memorable parts of our trip. What really set this experience apart was the incredible hospitality. The owners left many personal touches to make our stay perfect. From providing linens, soaps and games, to a detailed binder of local tips and even a bottle of complimentary wine, their thoughtfulness was evident everywhere. It felt less like a rental and more like staying at a friend’s well-loved home. We highly recommend Loon Loft to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway. Five stars—we are already planning our next visit!
