Tor was a great host and the property has a resplendent, expansive view of Donner Lake and Mt Judah. The lodging was nicely decorated, cozy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return again soon!

The location cannot be beat! And the amenities of Donner Lake Village are excellent! We loved having a private beach and lounge chairs available to us! We will definitely be back

Most guests like the view better without looking through screens however I will be installing a slider screen for those that want one.

The Lake Donner condo is perfect in every way and renting it was truly a most positive experience. Reading the condo's information and instructions, received in advance, along with a chat with the owner, Tor, before leaving home with any questions we had, proved most useful and is highly recommended. The location of the condo couldn't be better, easy to get to, right on a beach strand at the lake's edge and close enough to Truckee, Tahoe Donner, and the neighboring Tahoe locales. The condo was spotless and Tor has thought of everything anyone might need on a vacation's stay. The condo's layout is ideal and functional, whether sitting in the downstairs living room enjoying the view of the lake and mountains (and the comfy sectional!), on its spacious deck, or upstairs in the TV area (and bedrooms/bathrooms), everywhere is clean, spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Tor is an amazing property host. It was truly a pleasure to both "meet" him and stay at his lakeside condo. We hope to return very soon. Thank you for everything, Tor.

This was the perfect spot for us to stay on Donner. The views, right from your living room or balcony, are world class! Truly. I loved getting up in the morning and seeing the lake when it was quiet, I loved kayaking right from the beach out back and I loved the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The downstairs living area is very nice with a comfortable sectional, cozy throws and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms upstairs are small, but since we only went upstairs to sleep it didn't really matter.We will definitely be back for a future stay!

Beautiful lakefront property with incredible views. Super cozy. Beds were really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and Tor, our host, was very responsive and super helpful. We were eight minutes from Sugar Bowl! Loved this stay!

The view from the deck was unbelievable , blue water, blue sky. It was so serene and peaceful. The condo was perfectly outfitter for our party of five. In addition, the kitchen was stocked with every pot or pan we could have needed. The Donner Lake Pub is within walking distance as well as the daily trip to get ice cream from across the street, both yummy! The beds are so comfy and the condo was so clean. Our family plays a lot of games and there were many to choose from as well as puzzles. Another trip to Donner but this trip was memorable!

A paddle boarders paradise! Loved the view from the deck! There is so much within walking distance - ice cream shop, marina to rent a boat, a private beach!

Our brief getaway to Tor’s perfect Donner Lake home was a delight. Have enjoyed Tahoe for 30 years, but never stayed at Donner. Perfect location all year round and look forward to coming back soon. Tor made it so easy.

Each day of our stay gave us new views of the lake. From sunny, to misty, to snowy. A wonderland. Donner Lake is close to Lake Tahoe, but with better views (in my opinion), and near the amazing town of Truckee for sightseeing and all basic needs. Every element of the decor in this little condo is fascinating. The owner, Tor, was always helpful and responsive via text and phone. The more days we stayed, the more delights we discovered.

Excellent property with a front row view of the lake and the Donner Triathlon this past weekend which was super fun. Very convenient to the marina as well, jus steps away so renting paddleboards and a boat for wake surfing was easy. Highly recommend !
