This property is amazing. Very secluded and welcoming. the hot tub and fire pit are great for unwinding at night, and there is plenty of space inside for people to spread out.

Close to New River Gorge, but secluded. We saw a doe and fawn on the large property and it had beautiful views. Lots of activities on the property; hot tub, fire pit, game room with arcade games, ping pong and fooseball. S’mores ingredients were available.

House was clean and well stocked. Easy access to the main road but just far enough away to fill private. Game room and jacuzzi keep us occupied at night.

The view was beautiful and the house was perfect. I loved the large kitchen table to play games on and the basement to hang out in. The fire pit was a great bonus too !

Great stay!

Our group of 7 + 2 dogs had a great stay here! Lots of privacy from neighbors and close access to shops/restaurants in Fayetteville and hiking in New River Gorge.

Great Stay

Great stay at Sophia’s place. The fire-pit and s'mores were a great end to a day of hiking. It was a nice touch that the firewood and s'mores were provided. Would recommend if ever in the New River Gorge area.

Beautiful Property

Everything about this place is lovely and well-thought out. Our family had a wonderful time in WV, and were always happy to return to a comfortable house with amazing amenities.

Beautiful views

This was a great place with beautiful views. The hot tub, fire pit, and games kept the whole family together and entertained while we visiting the area. Sophia was great and was quick to respond to all of our questions.

Nice place!

We had a nice stay at this property and the host was very responsive to any needs we had. The location is on a hill and secluded so we had the area to ourselves. We loved the outdoor firepit space as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay at this home. It was beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed every minute. Our host was so responsive and hospitable. We plan to come back next year!

Beautiful and clean

Had the best weekend staying here with my mom and sisters for a girls trip weekend! Great space inside and outside of the house! Very clean with great amenities.

Great view!

We had a great stay!!! It’s super close to Oak Hill and Fayetteville! We loved exploring the area and also had some wonderful family time at the house. Our kids loved the game room and seeing the wild turkey and baby fawns. The house was clean and bedding was comfortable. Be sure to eat at Mandabees in Oak Hill! Thanks for a great week!

What a great property! The yard is wonderful and the interior of the house is spotless. 15-20 minutes to all of the local attractions. Sophia is a wonderful host. She is always available for questions and concerns and truly wants you to have a great experience.

Wonderful place!

This place was a delight. It was so clean & well stocked with all we needed. The owner is amazing & quick to respond to any questions we had. The location is perfect. We are able to get to hiking trails in 25 minutes or less. The fire pit & swings are the perfect place to relax after hiking. Would definitely book again!!!

Great house and amazing view

Our stay was great, we all loved the house, the huge yard and the amazing views. Felt like a remote farm house but very close to city center and hiking/rafting. We went right after hurricane Helene, they did a great job coordinating safety, cleaning up and dealing with a power outage right before we arrived.

Our stay was amazing!

This is a great location that feels mostly secluded yet close to get to restaurants, stores, and New River Gorge NP. Hot tub was great and large enough to fit our family of 5. The kids loved all of the games in the basement! Kitchen was missing a few things but we were able to make due. Fire pit with the swings were a hit and the kids loved the s'mores. We saw deer and turkeys from the property too.

Wonderful place, Amazing view

We had a wonderful stay with out family. The host was very friendly and communitive and check-in was very easy. The kids loved finding the smores' supplies and board games. House was clean and comfortable, and less then 10 minute drive into down town Oak Hill for grocery shopping or adventure. View was spectacular - I loved sitting in the swinging chairs by the fire, watching the kids chase fireflys.

Mountain gem

Our family if 4 (plus a friend of my 17-year old's) came to the New River Gorge for rafting & the bridge walk. The home is very convenient to ACE Adventures, & very private. We loved the fire pit & s'mores, Keurig was great- short drive to Fayetteville. Would recommend & will return. Soft towels, games & puzzles, & huge TV. Beds were comfy & we had an absolute blast!

A great location for a long weekend with the family

We had a great time as a family! The outdoor space was great for the kids. The location is close enough to multiple towns and things to do. Everything inside the house was exactly what we needed with many added touches that were special - smores supplies, for example. The only issue we had was trying to stream anything on the TVs...internet kept cutting out. Not a big deal because we weren't there to watch TV, but something to note.

Wonderful mountain getaway

Windy Hills is in a fantastic location. It is both remote and close to amenities.The house is clean and in good condition. It is smaller than it apoears in the pictures. I would say 10 people max for comfort. Most needs are supplied in abundance - paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. But the kitchen dies lack some basics, such as mixing bowl. It doesnot have mzmy drinking glasses.
