Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Daffodil Cottage. Location is excellent - on the “quiet” side of Mt Rainier, so we had zero issues getting in the park and were able to drive right there. Coffee, restaurants & breweries are in walking distance and all are excellent. We saw the neighborhood elk one evening, and laid in the backyard to stargaze. The house itself is set up very well, well stocked kitchen & comfortable spaces. Check in and out was super easy, and hosts had left a book with lots of local tips.

Very close by to everything in Packwood, very walkable. The place itself was clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better location near Rainier.

We were there for a meeting at the Museum and did not go to the Park We just need a nice place to stay the night a rest. It was very comfortable and we will likely be back!

Hidden gem

This was the perfect property for our stop between Mount St Helens and Mount Rainier. Super clean and stocked with fun extras. Highly recommend!

Cutest welcoming cottage

We stayed to see the area and hike. It was an overnight stay and a lot of rain the first day. At the daffodils cottage we had many activities we could do at the cottage inside and out.our favorite part was the backyard gardens
Had fun playing corn hole and relaxing the the charming back yard

Well maintained sweet home

We enjoyed staying in this aweet home. It was quite comfortable. It was thoughtfully stocked and very well maintained. Thanks for letting us stay. We would highly recommend this home. We will defintely wish to stay here again next time .

Had everything we needed, including local fresh ground coffee. Literally 2 blocks or less to the best of Packwood. Multiple furnaces meant each guest could warm their space as they saw fit. Boys loved the Pac-Man and Dig Dug arcade and boot and glove warmers since they skipped 3 straight days at White Pass. If here in slightly warmer weather, we certainly would have used the firepit out back, but it snowed a couple inches for us while there.

Will be coming again next year

Been coming to Packwood during the summer months for over twenty years. Stayed at many hotels and rented a few homes during that period. This rental is certainly one of the better available options in my opinion. I will be returning next summer.

Lovely house -walk to brewery!!!

This quaint little house was perfect for our family! Excellent clean, fresh feel with modern touches. The backyard was great for a lawn games and we enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. It’s an excellent base camp for outdoor adventures. We loved that it’s walking distance from family friendly Packwood Brewery and other cute cafes and shops. We will be back!

This was probably one of the best VRBO’s that I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. It’s obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought, effort, and care into hosting. We stayed for a family trip to Mt Rainier NP. The park was an easy drive from the property and it was within walking distance of the main road so you can walk to the restaurants. Each room had plenty of USB ports, plenty of towels in the bathroom, and even a complimentary s’mores kit. Highly recommend!!
