The nine of us were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements, beds for everyone! The bathrooms were very nice, lots of towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The kitchen was small but well appointed.I have two suggestions. The scent of room deodorizer was completely overwhelming. We bagged up the many units and opened up the house to dissipate the strong smell. I would also suggest room darkening curtains in the back bedroom as the security light shown through the blinds.The hosts were very prompt and courteous with their responses. The house was just a short ride away from our destination, the Henry Ford Museum . The kids were happy they had a backyard to run around in and we were happy for the gate across the driveway.We are all glad we stayed at The Peaceful Haven!

Good Location and great stay

Good central location for museum hopping in Dearborn and Detroit. The house was spotless, modern decor, comfortable beds, everything we needed. I highly recommed staying here.

My stay at the Peaceful Haven was absolutely amazing. Every amenity that I needed was provided. It was immaculate and comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. I look forward to staying there again.

The house does sleep 10 and the large basement is helpful if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the home.

Our stay was really good but we didn’t know that it would be in the hood. That was the only downfall of our trip.

Thanks for your feedback. The property is in Detroit but definitely not in the hood and does not meet any definition of the hood. The property is in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Detroit and none of our guests have ever had any issue with safety. We are also lucky to have a police precint at the beginning of the other side of the street.

Peaceful haven review

Nice and clean. Accomated all of our needs. Neighborhood was a little rough but felt safe overall. Drive way to park with back yard and gate was definitely a bonus.

Great Home

The Home was just as advertise. Very clean up to date appliances and furniture. Owner even had waters in the fridge for when we arrived. I would recommened this place and will be staying again if I'm in the area.

it's really a two bedroom house with beds in the basement.We had to rewash all the towels because the were damp and had a strong scent of mildew.

Excellent stay, great communications, clean and updated

My friends and I make a yearly trip to Detroit for a local video game tournament. I found this place and it fit all of our needs. I was pleased to find that everything at the house was clean and well kept up or updated. Technology at the house was great with the TVs, WiFi, and streaming services. There were many beds and additional places to sleep on the two couches if needed. The basement bar was great for our CRT TV setups to play our retro games prior to the tournament. I will without a doubt look into this place next year when we come back to visit. Communication was excellent throughout the stay as well. Thanks again!

The home felt so cozy and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home, even though it wasn't an open concept. With just the right amount of space for a larger family, it was only three of us although perfectly our needs. During our stay, a storm temporarily knocked out the internet, but I appreciated how quickly the owner responded and was so helpful in resolving the issue. The kitchen is sleek and modern, adding a stylish touch, even if it's a bit cozy. Overall, the house was spotless and beautifully decorated, and we truly enjoyed every moment there. The neighborhood has a charming, older vibe that adds to its character.
