Like many Alabama girls, I've always loved the water. When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak, bird watch, fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek.

Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches.

I hope you'll love this place as much as I do.

Was really a wonderful place and reasonably price. The only issue we had was heavy traffic going east which had nothing to do with the property.

In town to watch the Blue Angels preform and spend the weekend on the water. This place was beyond our expectations. It is tucked away from the major congestion but still close enough to get to everywhere you need to go quickly. We enjoyed the back deck for morning coffee and the pier for afternoon fishing. The host is extremely nice and has done an excellent job decorating and making it feel like a home. We will be renting again on our summer vacations!!

ExcellentThe Hospitality was great! The home was so clean and the amenities were superb. The neighborhood was very quiet so I could get my relaxation on. I would definitely recommend this home to everyone. It was also very close to everything. I will definitely be booking again.

Wonderful stay!! Home was comfortable and SUPER CLEAN, and was the perfect distance to/from everything we needed to get to. Lovely spot right on a creek, we had a blast and even caught a few fish and crabs! Neighborhood might look a little rough around the edges, but don’t let that deter you from staying as this was definitely the nicest place in the area and we will certainly try to stay here again.

Cynthia’s place is exactly as it appears in the photos; clean, well stocked, and wonderful extras like the kayaks and Jon boat. She was very responsive and helpful, and even worked with us to shift our reservations by a day to accommodate our changing plans. We would certainly recommend Cynthia as a host and Miflin Creek!

Home away from home

When u tell u that this was the best place I've ever stayed in not exaggerating! Everything was as pictured! The host literally thought of everything and more! I had fresh flowers and a sweet welcome note! My husband enjoyed the coffee set up and my boys enjoyed the candy she left! There was even phone chargers beside the bed! If I had only brought the clothes on my back I would have still been just as comfortable because everything was that welcoming and comfortable! There was a welcome book with recommendations for places to eat and local hot spots! I will definitely be back!

Serenity now!

Cynthia has set up the most comfortable riverfront get-away place. Every amenity has been well thought out to provide easy living while on a vacation. One thoughtful touch is the numerous charging spots for your devices. There is one in every room. Decent wifi. Outside are several boat options the launch right from the dock. Plus fishing poles. We didn’t catch anything when we were there, but it was very relaxing. We had our morning coffee on the dock. Beautiful surroundings and neighborhood. Thanks so much Cynthia. We are hoping to get back sometime.

Everything was extremely clean. This place is a gem. Close enough to everything while also being more quiet and secluded. Cynthia has thought of EVERYTHING! From kayaks to fishing poles, games to Roku TVs, she has provided a great place. Relax on the back deck with a grill and fire pit or hang out inside with a big tv. Will absolutely be back. Not enough good things to say

The area was very quiet and serene. The deck by the creek was perfect for a morning coffee which was provided. The space was very clean! Only 25 minutes from the beach. We did not have the chance to use the kayaks but definitely plan to come back with a little more time next time!

I fell in love with this little piece of Miflin Creek because it's the kind of place where you can slow down, watch the wildlife, and leave the hustle behind. You'll often find me kayaking the creek, keeping an eye on the ospreys, spending a day at our beautiful white sand beaches, trying a new local restaurant, or treasure hunting at thrift and antique stores.
One of my favorite things about hosting is sharing this peaceful corner of the Gulf Coast with others. I hope you'll feel right at home here and leave with wonderful memories—and maybe even a new favorite place to visit.
