Great location, well kept condo

It was a really comfortable, clean and well-kept condo. Really enjoyed the on-site river access and convenience to Schliterbahn.

Great place to stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and amenities were very nice. The condo was clean and cute! I would recommend providing soft toilet paper since you only get 2 rolls per bathroom. The other guests were nice and courteous. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio.

River trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The waterwheel condominiums are some of the best kept stays in the area. Super close to the public entrance for the Guadeloupe. The pools, and private river access are the main reasons I booked but everything about this stay was fabulous. The Texas themed condo we rented was perfect for a 34th birthday bash haha.

WWi303 Guadalupe Paradise!!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this home ! It was perfectly located to get to all the attractions, or if you just wanted to chill down in the river you had access as well ! We loved being able to sit on the balcony with coffee in the mornings , there is a tree directly outside the impairs your view of the grounds , but that wasn’t something important to us . The home was very clean , had everything you would need in a home to cook with . We would definitely stay here again !

Great place while visiting NB & Canyon Lake

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a really nice rental. The furniture is comfortable, and I think all the appliances were in working order, we really only used the fridge. Every bedroom has a tv in case you want to chill. This unit is on the third floor, very end of the building, so it's a nice, quiet spot. The elevator is located on the other end of the building, but it's not far at all. Your designated parking spot is under the stairs, away from the elevator as well. The location here is nice as far as traffic goes. Just a really good location. It's over on Mather Street, near Cypress Park. You can travel into downtown or hit 306 to the lake without the major busy intersections...if you're from NB, you know what I mean.The river: it's a great spot in some shallow rapids. Great for sitting and relaxing. Really rocky. The short float that is suggested (they said 20 minutes), the timing depends on the river flow. It was only 71 while we were there and it took FOREVER to get back to our spot, and it's a short distance. LOL, we made it fun anyway. You have to bring your own tubes, they aren't provided by the owner. We enjoyed it, thanks!

2/10 Terribile

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The door code provided did not work upon arrival. I called the number for property management and was told the maintenance guy would be there in 10-15 minutes. We had already unloaded our car and carried our luggage up to the third floor, so my husband stayed with our stuff while my daughter and I waited in the car. Upon arrival, the maintenance guy was able to access the property, but only by pushing down on the door handle with his entire body weight while simultaneously ramming the door with his shoulder. I tried to call management back and explain that I am a 5’ woman and cannot use my body as a battering ram all weekend to get in and out of the condo. My kids couldn’t work the door at all. I called 3 times and kept getting hung up on. It was almost 7 PM by this time and I had to find somewhere for my family to stay. I booked a hotel room and we left, and I requested a refund due to the property being inaccessible. The property manager initially declined to refund the rental fee and said they could have put us in a different unit in the same complex. I had no way of knowing that because nobody would answer the phone. I had to dispute the charge with AmEx to get the credit issued.

We are sorry that you experienced issues with the door handle which has been replaced. We had maintenance to the condo within 15 minutes of your call to open the door and it did not require "entire body weight while ramming the door with his shoulder" that is a complete exaggeration and we offered to move to another of our units at the property however you never responded to our message about moving you to another unit. You were also given a full refund prior to contesting the charge so there was no need to contest the charge in the first place as we accommodated your request for a full refund. Had you simply replied to our text we could have moved you to another unit within minutes. It is unfortunately that you felt the need to write this review after receiving full refund for an issue that could have been resolved had you communicated with us when we reached out.
