We had a lovely stay at this cabin, especially utilizing the outdoor amenities, such as the fire pit and decks. Communication with the host was quick and easy during check-in and at the end of our stay.The neighborhood is quiet and cozy as you’re nestled into the beautiful woods.While it was just myself and my husband during this visit, there’s ample room for a large family and young children and teens are sure to enjoy all the gaming options on the lower level.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This cozy cabin in the woods was an excellent family-friendly vacation stay! Very clean, adequate cooking supplies, and private. The host was quick to respond and we had no trouble finding and checking into the cabin. Within 20 mins of Pigeon Forge.

Not the greatest. Major water leak when we arrived and hosts had no care to fix. Major as in the fridge had a puddle under it and it leaked through the floor and onto the pool table the entire 5 days we were there. A lot of light bulbs were burnt out, hard to see at night. Also the A/C barely works, especially the master bed room mini split. Not the hosts fault but worth noting the woods surrounding is infested with bears. 2 stalked the house the entire time and made leaving and coming difficult. Bring a fire arm, not kidding.

This cabin is beautiful and has so much potential, but unfortunately it is not maintained well. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning did not work. After a 10-hour drive, our party of 10 had to spend two hot, uncomfortable nights in the cabin because the issue was never resolved.We gave the property management every opportunity to fix the problem, but no solution was provided. In the end, we were forced to find another cabin and move our entire group within 24 hours, which was incredibly stressful and took away from our vacation.The only bright spot of our stay was seeing a bear come right up to the cabin on our first day, which was a memorable experience. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the trip.The cabin itself is lovely, but maintenance and customer service fell far below expectations. Until these issues are addressed and guests receive timely support when problems arise, I cannot recommend staying here.

Wonderful time at Buck Board Lodge!

We booked a cabin last minute for our family to stay in and we made the right choice! I wanted our three children and their cousins to be able to make memories that will last a life time. My teens stayed down stairs in the bunk beds with the other cousins in the larger bed beside it. The downstairs was perfect for the children. They stayed up all night playing pool and air hockey! We even played card games they had provided. The hot tub was everyone’s favorite as well. I love the back porch string lights as you sit out back. We had a bear cub pay us a visit one morning and also lots of bunnies and raccoons! I do believe this cabin is perfect for families but could also be a romantic and peaceful getaway. The host were always there to send messages back and forth about our stay and quick to respond! 10/10 star!

The host communicates clearly and quickly. Plenty of sleeping options between the bunk beds, two kings, and two queens! Very comfortable beds. Love that there’s a living room space and the whole basement living area as well. The outside spaces are nice as well!

Buck Board Lodge is a nice house that is poorly managed. The contact from Haven Vacation rentals only known to me as Jack lied about nearly everything. The house was clean, but there were many things in that needed repair that had obviously been neglected. The 2nd floor master bathroom shower leaked water into the bedroom below it. The string lighting on the deck, staircase to the yard, and along the fence to the fireplace area was missing bulbs. The string on the fence had exactly 1 bulb that worked. There were old bulbs laying on the ground under the stairs, and there were exposed wire nuts at the top of the stairs on the handrail. The advertised grill was not there and upon inquiry about it got lied to that it was not a part of the rental. I pointed out to Jack that the grill was a listed amenity on the guest portal for this property, and that in the listing photos it can be seen on the deck near the hot tub. Curiously after pointing this out the photo disappeared, and it was removed from the guest portal. Let's go back to that leaking bathroom. I found a review from December of 2025 complaining of the same leak. We stayed in early June 2026. Just like in the review I found no maintenance ever showed up to look into the issue. It also advertised free access to the pool at Honeysuckle Meadows which was also a lie. I spoke personally with the owners daughter at the pool and they have no affiliation with Haven Vacation Rentals. I could go on but have used all 1500 characters
