Perfect location and configuration of rooms for our family to stay for Piedmont graduation. The view from the deck is amazing, love the trail to/from the River, enjoyed the swing on the front porch. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfy. Lovely home! Would book again if life brings us back to Demorest area!

It was awesome from the booking, to the responses, to how wonderful it was for our entire family. We were impressed, and had a great time.

Lots of things to do really liked this place, clean quiet and secluded

We all had a great time here, it's a short drive to Hellen for German food, fun and beer. When we were here we played Bocci, Pool, cards and relaxed in the hot tub. The beds were clean and comfortable we felt like we were at home. Great place!

Perfect for family holidays

Our family had a great time. Perfect layout didn't feel over crowded . Big driveway only thing is be careful pulling out there's trees that make it hard to see anything coming from the left side. This cabin was in perfect location for relaxing and not a long drive from helen and other areas.

Everything was perfect!

The house and view is absolutely stunning!!! Check in and check out was easy. Everything was set up as requested. The short drive to Helen was convenient. I highly recommend staying there and will hopefully be able to return soon!!

A perfect escape filled with comfort, kindness, and everything we needed to truly unwind.

We had such a wonderful stay at We Can Get Away with Blue Creek Cabins! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin truly had everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully stocked and beautifully maintained, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time away. What really stood out was how friendly the staff was. The entire experience felt warm, smooth, and genuinely cared for from start to finish. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway, I can’t recommend this cabin enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Lovely cabin on the river

We enjoyed our time w family / plant of room and space to play pool, darts and card games - view is incredible! Thank you for allowing us to stay in you lovely cabin.

Relaxing

I absolutely loved this cabin. It had the right amount of stay for a getaway with friends. The scenery was beautiful. I have booked quite a few cabins with Blue Creek, and this was my favorite. I would love to come back.

Wonderful and cabin in a quiet area

Well-furnished cabin in a quiet location, just 10 minutes from grocery stores. Yonah Mountain and Helen are less than 25 minutes away. We loved sipping coffee in the morning while watching the sun rise over the forest from the kitchen and dining area. In the evenings, we celebrated our hiking accomplishments in the hot tub or around the pool table. We will definitely be back!

Paradise on the River!

We absolutely loved our stay at River Bend Lodge! The owners have thought of every amenity you could need— from activities like the pool table to the rafts for river lounging, a grill and ample kitchen tools, and of course the lovely hot tub and cozy furniture for downtime— they’ve got it all. Our family had ample space to be together and also explore the property on our own. Can’t wait to come back to this gorgeous house!

Beautiful Views, Comfortable Space

From the well-maintained property to the modern appliances to the immaculate pool table to the river access, this house has everything. Beautiful views from the deck, and more than enough space for several couples. Also has a bocce/rounders court and hot tub. Highly recommend

Excellent Stay

We were welcomed with a delicious bottle of wine! Thanks so much for everything. We had a beautiful tri. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need throughout the day.

Relaxing River Stay

We loved our stay at the River Bend Lodge; I hosted friends for my birthday and it was roomy enough for a group, appreciated showers/bathrooms on each floor! We enjoyed the hot tub, watching sunsets on the back deck and pool table was a bonus. There is a nice walk from the cabin down to the river. Would be a great place in the summer or a cozy retreat in the winter. Not a bad drive from Atlanta, and even visited the nearby German town Helen during our trip; will be back!

The pictures don't do this cabin justice; beautiful views and tranquil location by the river, lots of space with multiple communal areas, and plenty of activities (pool, darts, bocce). The host thought of everything - we didn't need to bring a thing.

Valentine’s and Birthday weekend in the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The view was absolutely beautiful, even with the rain. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, making it easy to cook meals. The beds were comfortable, though on the firmer side. One thing to note—some doorways are a bit short, which might be a challenge for taller guests. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy nature!

Perfect mix of mountain views and river lounging

River Bend Lodge is a great place to get away with a group! There are so many places to comfortably gather inside and outside. We enjoying the rolling mountain views from the upper deck and spent time in the river. It is a bit of a hike getting back up from the river, but worth it! There are also multiple vineyard and breweries within a very short drive (~20 minutes) if you need to get out and about. Highly recommend.

A Beautiful cabin nestled on a hillside, overlooking the Soque River - The perfect place for a retreat!

I can't wait to stay at River Bend Lodge again! It was a spacious, meticulously kept cabin with sweeping views of the Soque River. The kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking utensils you might need and a large dining table that everyone could sit at. The downstairs area had so much entertainment! There were board games, puzzles, a pool table, a dart board, and a living room with a TV. The hot tub was pristine (I found out they empty and clean it after every guest!) and only a few steps away from the door - under a roof. A short walk from the hot tub is a Bocce court and fire pit, which were perfect for relaxing in the evening. The best part was relaxing by the river! There is a concrete pad on the riverfront, which was perfect for drinking morning coffee or just sitting and enjoying the scenery. I felt like I was in a nature reserve. I highly recommend booking a stay here!

Wonderful getaway just outside Atlanta

My family and I met friends at this spacious cabin and were so impressed with how secluded it felt even though it was such a short drive from Atlanta. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a homemade dinner around the farm table or taking a soak in the hot tub. Beautiful nature is available from the cabin whether you want to gaze at the abundant stars from the upper or lower deck or take a quick walk to the river for a picnic at one of the multiple riverside seating areas. I 100% will be coming back!

Over priced

The cabin was an older cabin. It appeared nice on pictures but cheap used materials when you see it in person. The beds were comfortable and the showers were dated. The price was way more than it should have been for that cabin. We did not have much of a choice in that area and the hotels were booked up. We were working in the area and needed a place to stay. It wasn’t terrible but the price definitely didn’t match the property.

Jenny, Thank you for your review. In ref to your comments about the pictures appearing to be nice but the cabin was older etc when you arrived there...we represent privately owned cabins and some of them are older and some of them are more recently built. Each cabin owner decorates with their own taste of furniture and design and a lot of consideration went into appointing River Bend Lodge's furnishings. Our pictures were not enhanced in any way to make it appear as though the cabin was anything more than it is. The pictures are thorough and the cabin is priced accordingly. You were on a waterfront property with a view which is typically more expensive than a cabin without either two of those. Additionally, cabins are priced based on amenities, location, seasonality and competitor's pricing and the prices change during the year to represent that. Relaxation at the River House

The cabin is beautiful- well decorated, full kitchen. We enjoyed dining outside on the porch, watching the sun set. You get the view of the mountains and a view of the river. We loved spending time floating in the river and admiring the rocks, birds and nature that surround the cabin. In the evening, spending time in the basement with the TV for movies, pool table and hot tub was perfect! I appreciated the touches that the cabin provides- toiletries, plenty of towels and comfy beds. I would have been completely fine just staying at the cabin, but it’s nice that there’s breweries and shopping nearby if you want to get out and do something different. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back!
