Amazing Fourth of July!

My family and I stayed at the Relax and Reset Cottage for the Fourth and had such a great weekend. The property is very well maintained, the lake is beautiful, the staff was super responsive with our questions, and the area of gorgeous. Highly recommend a start and hopefully will be coming back!

The cabin was perfect for one or two people, and my dog enjoyed herself as well. And the property mangers are extremely helpful and responsive.

Cute Vintage Cottage

Great little place to stay. Wonderful porch for bug free meals and morning coffee. Very private side yard with a fire pit (lots of places to get firewood close by) and a shared beach with access to the water.

The cabin was perfect for my fiancé and our dog!!! Great view of the lake. Easy check in process. Big fluffy hotel quality towels. Only recommendation is more window coverings.

We left a day early; without access to a decent beach, there was nothing to do there. The listing promised a beach, but it turned out to be a patch of goose droppings and water full of algae. Please stop misleading people. Another issue: bring your own frying pan, because the one provided is useless. Also, the smoke detector needs to be moved or replaced; it goes off unexpectedly whenever you use the stove, which is startling and could easily lead to burns. The doors won't close properly, and creaks with age. That’s about it. The price you charge for this place is outrageous.And first day no water and difficult ,stressful to get number for help.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the property did not meet your expectations and that you chose to leave early. I do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The listing clearly states that there is a clean, sandy beach shared with the Main Cottage, while each cabin has its own private dock. The beach is not advertised as private to this cabin. Unfortunately, I also cannot control the natural water conditions of the lake, including algae or changes in water quality. Our after-hours phone number is provided inside the home so guests can reach me at any time if an issue comes up. You did reach me regarding the water issue, and we were at the home within an hour and had the problem resolved. I’m glad we were able to address that quickly. This is an older, charming lake home with an antique character, and it is not a newly built or modern property. The doors are original to the home and have the character and quirks you would expect from an older cabin; there is nothing mechanically wrong with them. I appreciate the other concerns you mentioned and will certainly take a look at the frying pan and smoke detector to make sure everything is functioning as it should.

Cute cabin

The cabin was very cute, clean, and cozy. It had everything we needed for our three night stay. The only thing I would suggest is a better description on where to enter property from. It was dark when we arrived and there’s only a small opening in the fence that’s right onto grass so we weren’t sure if that’s how we were supposed to get in. I’d definitely recommend to others and stay here again myself.

Not at all as described

Dishes, pots and pans were 50 years old, plus. Sofa sleeper was spoiled and full is rodent droppings. Toilet was low and loose. Mattress was lumpy and soft. We were not able to share beach or pier, as described. Very disappointing!
