The host was excellent to work with. The location was outstanding for hitting the bourbon trail... very reasonable drives to Buffalo Trace, Woodford, etc. Please know that this is a historic home. The architecture and high ceilings were very cool. There were cracks on the walls from settling and the initial smell was little stale... could have had something to do with the fact it was 100 degrees outside. The last issue that concerned my wife was the mouse trap in the corner. Please know it is a good place to stay, but want people to be aware.

Loved the layout of this house and was very accommodating for multiple couples to stay. Easy access to downtown Frankfort.

This place is CHARMING, spacious, convenient/walkable to restaurants, close to lots of distilleries. It was as nice as the pictures on the listing. I would def. stay here again. We were soaked from the rain and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer! Will stay here again if we get the chance,

Great (safe) neighborhood / location. Clean, Well appointed. This will be our go to spot for any Frankfort/bourbon trail journeys.

Location was excellent to every thing we wanted to do.We enjoyed our stay! Everything looked nice and updated. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable! We enjoyed the comfortable seating in the living room. We loved the historic feel of the home!Added bonus was Andy's Bakery at the end of the block! Excellent coffee and pastries!!The Cliffside Diner around the corner has an excellent breakfast!! And lastly..The host was very fast to helpful when I had issues with my Vrbo app. We highly recommended this house!!

Great home base for the area!

Comfortable, historic home conveniently located near the Capitol building. We were kind of shocked to realize we were staying a block from the governor's mansion! The house was clean and comfortable and served us well as a base for exploring bourbon country and some of the amazing history in the Frankfort and Bardstown areas.

It was a great place. The only down side was the comfort of the beds and pillows. The property was great otherwise and wonderful communication with host. People around us were friendly.

Roaches in the fridge and crawling from under the fridge. If you’ve read this far then clearly potentially bringing home an infestation doesn’t bother you so please continue. Other than discovering the little brown demons, the property was as described. Check-in was a breeze, but the response time from the property manager when contacted about extra towels and bedding were very delayed. House is in a cute historic neighborhood within a block from the capital building. There is a darling bake shop called Andy’s down the street that has croissants and other pastries that are to die for 10/10!!We had a lovely stay until I noticed the roaches crawling from the refrigerator and dead baby roaches on the shelves inside. I brought this to the attention to of the property manager and got a lukewarm response. Will not stay here again even if you paid me.

We arrived Thursday night to find one of the bed frames broken. The mattress on the floor on one side if you sat or laid on it. I immediately reported through calling both the main number and emergency number as well as emailed. No response. I called again on Friday morning and received a call back stating someone would be contacting me. Never happened. Finally on Sunday after we left, I received a call. Once again assuring me someone would be in contact. Never happened. I'm sure I'll never get a refund for the unusable bedroom. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Delightful Stay

The house was clean, and updated still holding on to the vintage charm of the woodwork etc,, A great location in a friendly neighborhood. Wonderful set up for privacy for two couples or more. Enough seating for everyone and a great what to do book for the area and house. The only down side is that it is street parking. But the area was safe and we only had to walk a few houses down. When loading up you can pull into the alley next to the house. A good house for someone who does not want stairs. You can enter the house via the porch from the side. Would definitely stay again.
