The Space:

The home combines spacious interiors, large windows, natural wood and locally inspired details designed around the surrounding landscape. It accommodates up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The Neighborhood:

Casa Altamira is located along the Villarrica–Pucón corridor, outside the denser urban center of Villarrica, in a quiet residential and natural setting.



Pucará Beach and downtown Villarrica, with supermarkets, shops and services, are a short drive away. Nearby by car:

* Downtown Pucón: about 25 min (22 km).

* Enjoy Pucón Casino: about 25 min (22 km).

* Villarrica Volcano ski center, inside Villarrica National Park: about 50 min (35 km).



Getting Around:

A car is the recommended way to get around. Route 199 (CH-199) connects Casa Altamira directly with Villarrica and Pucón. The road to the Villarrica Volcano ski center ends on a well-maintained gravel stretch: allow extra time and carry tire chains in winter. The main commercial airport serving the region is La Araucanía International Airport (ZCO), near Freire, about 1 h 10 min by car (73 km).



Other Things to Note:

The outdoor pool is heated using energy collected by the property’s solar panels.



As a result, water temperature and heating performance depend directly on solar radiation and weather conditions. The property is located in southern Chile, where weather conditions can change significantly even during the pool season.



A heated pool does not mean that a fixed water temperature can be guaranteed. During cloudy, rainy or colder periods, or whenever solar radiation is limited, the water may remain cooler and the heating system may not achieve the same temperature reached during sunny weather.



The pool is outdoors and operates seasonally. Outside the dates stated in the listing, guests should not assume that the pool will be available for use.



The pool measures approximately 6 × 2.5 m and includes counter-current swimming, lighting, jets and hydromassage.



There is also a separate two-person jacuzzi in the main bathroom.



Guests booking primarily because of the pool should take these technical characteristics and the variable climate of southern Chile into consideration before booking.
