The Cozy Cabin was very nice for my wife and my dog and myself. The cozy cabin is cozy with a nice view and ample sunlight. It was nice and clean and freshly updated. Alan, the host, was a pleasure to deal with. He takes very nice care of everything on the farm. It was definitely nice and quiet. I would highly recommend the cozy cabin for a couple with a small dog. Again, I would recommend the cozy cabin, or any one of the other cabins on the property. Thank you Alan for a memorable stay!

We used Cozy Cottage as a basecamp for exploring Acadia NP and surrounding area. The cabin was very clean and as described.

Our stay in Surry was fantastic! Alan was such an amazing, accommodating host with lists of great directions and recommendations. The cabin was clean and the piano was such a fun addition. We will definitely stay here again for visits up to the Maine coast.

A quiet, gateway

The cottage was very charming and quiet. The manager was very helpful and showed us around. Not far from Acadia National Park and highly recommend this location.

Alan is a nice man and my review is not to say anything bad about him. However, there were several things that were not as pictured in the ad. The property was clean but bordering overgrown. The fire pit was unusable. The grill worked but was not cleaned since there was no brush. The cabin itself is not the one pictured in the ad yet it was very cozy although it does not sleep 3 as listed. We thoroughly enjoyed the area with the numerous places to hike and reconnect with nature. I suppose for a couple who are into minimalist living, the cozy cottage would be a great getaway and disconnect from the world. It just was not what my wife and I were expecting Mike

It was a beautiful time. Exactly what my wife and dog expected it to be. It was a very cozy cottage and the people were wonderful. We unplugged and recharged.

Cabin was private and accurately described. Bathroom or kitchenette were not very clean. Has a nice view and host is very interactive.

Was enough for a one night stay. View of the mountain and close to Acadia National park. The cottage is listed to sleep three and it only sleeps two. That needs to be fixed in the websites description.

Peaceful and cozy!

We had a great 2 nights in this cottage the place felt very peaceful and cozy. We had our 2 dogs and everyone enjoyed the stay. Overall the place was exactly as described and the owner Alan was very helpful. The bathroom was a lil dirty (some hair in the shower and floor) but we came prepared so not too big of a deal. The wifi wasnt perfect (maybe a lil far) but allowed us to use for what we needed. I definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

Beautiful cabin and stunning night sky!

Everything was seamless and smooth. It was a beautiful property and a wonderfully newly renovated cabin that had everything we could need. It had A/C to help cool us off in the heat of the day, but also lots of windows for the cooler nights. It was extremely clean and super cozy. Stepping outside at night, the sky was stunning and breathtaking! So many stars!! I highly recommend this beautiful and serene piece of heaven for anyone traveling to Acadia National Park, it’s very conveniently located!

If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place for you. We were NOT. Owner was nice enough. But No comfortable chair to sit in, or TV to watch at night. Owner fussy about light usage, could use a nightlight in the bathroom. Parking was not good at all for us .

Great experience

We (3 adults and a Dalmatian) rented the Cozy Cabin for 10 days. It was great. There was enough space for our stuff and for us to relax and sleep comfortably. The bed sleeps 2 and there’s an air mattress for the third person. The cabin itself is nice, and the view is beautiful too. My husband really enjoyed how close it is to water and it gave him and Bailey (dog) some nice walks. This isn’t a place for partying but it’s awesome for relaxing. It’s about an hour from Bar Harbor, and it’s about15 or so minutes from Ellsworth.
