We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s close to Hot Springs and Marshall. It’s very peaceful and the home had everything we needed.

Nice home with beautiful view: dirty windows

Unfortunately the large expansive window was filthy and over taken by lady bugs making eating at the table undesirable. We communicated with the property manager twice and was made to feel as if this was a non issue without coming out to see.

Josee, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed Hot Springs Hideaway and it’s beautiful views, though we regret that the ladybugs impacted your stay. As noted in our rental agreement, these seasonal beetles are a naturally occurring phenomenon in NC and while harmless, they can be persistent despite thorough cleanings before each stay. We do our best to manage these seasonal occurrences, though we understand they can be frustrating. If you choose to stay with us again, we’d be happy to offer recommendations for the best times of year to visit when these bugs are less active :)
