Your cozy getaway awaits in Salida at this delightful ranch house, surrounded by 8 acres of fenced horse property ( horses welcome upon request) with a beautiful view of the Collegiate Peaks. This 3 bedroom, 1 bath includes a king bed, queen bed, and twin trundle bed.
Fully stocked kitchen.
Access to a golf target green upon request.

There’s plenty of space for you and your guests to relax and unwind.
The farmhouse features all the essentials you need for a wonderful stay, such as WiFi & streaming TV, laundry/mud room with washer/dryer.

The house was clean and homey. It has everything you need. The owners were very helpful. Location is centrally located to many sights and downtown Salida. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful sunrise and the local deer population.

This vacation home was delightful. It was very thoughtfully furnished and immaculately clean. We have rented cabins/vacation homes in Colorado many times over the past 25 years, and this was absolutely the best one we have ever stayed in, bar none.

The ranch was everything I hoped it would be. It's not too remote and not too close to town. There's plenty of stars in the sky to watch every night. And, best of all, it's as quiet as can be. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're out in Salida.

Fantastic property

Fantastic Mountain View’s from every window and the porch. We enjoyed watching the horses and prairie dogs. The mattresses were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The property owners were very kind.

My kids wish we could buy it!

We requested to stay at Tres Cruces last minute - about 24 hours before we'd hoped to check in - and were SO GRATEFUL Steve responded to us prompted to confirm the reservation. He was very hopsitable, kind, and responsible through out our entire stay. The property's setting was breath-taking, nestled between snow capped mountains. Inside was well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows and views from all sides of the home. Kitchen was well supplied, including a rainbow dozen eggs from his son's hen's - which we also thoroughly enjoyed! Highly recommended you stay here if you get the chance to visit this gem of an area!

Perfect little vacation rental

We stayed at the ranch March 14-17, 2025. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. There was a beautiful view of the mountains from the living room windows. Steve was quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. It was the perfect location between Monarch mountain and Salida. We would definitely stay here again!

Lots of laughter shared here!!

Six adult friends from Texas (ages 21-27) set out as first time visitors to Salida, CO and Monarch Mountain. We chose the ranch house as our home away from home to cook dinner, watch TV, relax, and lay our heads after a long day of snowboarding and skiing. I can definitely say we were not disappointed!For one, the ranch house location is a perfect 20 minute drive to and from Monarch Mountain. The scenery and mountains surrounding the house are gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice. The morning sunrise through the living room windows across the mountains truly took our breath away.Our host, Steve, was easy to contact and gave us all instructions needed prior to getting there. He also gave us an extra free night the night before our stay officially started. Steve and his wife were out of town during our stay so he gave us his son as an emergency contact. His son let us borrow a large pot so I could make my famous soup the first night we stayed.This family was so hospitable and helpful during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host or place to stay. 10/10! Highly recommend!!

The view from any window is amazing! I loved the full length windows in the front. I also loved that the area is pretty secluded and quiet. We had everything we needed!

Beautiful escape with stunning views

This getaway was just what my family and I needed. The views of the property were incredible and the location was convenient too many fun activities in the area area. The property is very nice and the owners had a lot of special touches that made it a wonderful experience.

Beautiful and relaxing spot

Steve and Kathy provided a lovely home for a relaxing stay on their ranch in Salida. The home had everything we needed, including all kitchen cooking supplies and dinnerware to eat at home. They even left fruit and chocolate for us to snack on. Their attention to detail and cozy decorations made us feel right at home. The picnic table on the deck allows you to admire a full view of the gorgeous mountain range. You won't regret staying here, and we will definitely be back!

Views on views

Steve was a very accommodating host and offers a unique experience in the Chaffee County area. The guest house has everything you need to feel like home as well as views to take your breath away from any window you choose to look out of. Fingers crossed this is available next time we make our way into the mountains!
