The little house was perfect for a girls weekend. It was updated and clean and even included coffee pods for the Keurig. The mattresses were comfortable, the heat worked well and we had plenty of hot water. Word of warning that the stairs up to the door are a bit steep and the driveway needs redoing for anyone not too steady on their feet. It’s also very dark at night - which is great for seeing stars!

I had extra blanket in the closet . Guests stole my throw blankets. I cannot tell Who did. You would be surprised what people steal. Its hard when there theft going on.

Please do not stay here! Dirt spiders and bugs and musty mildew smell. Owner did not communicate with us when we brought it up. Left one day I. Because of the smell and my allergies and asthma. Stay away!

Spiders and occasional insects can be common in many homes, and I work hard to keep the space clean and welcoming. I also recognize that everyone’s needs are different, and asthma or allergy sensitivities can make certain environments more challenging for some guests. While I strive to accommodate all visitors, I know it’s not always possible to meet every individual preference. I appreciate the feedback and will continue doing my best

Great place to relax

I had to change my itinerary at the last minute and was accommodated with ease. Also the owners went above and beyond helping us. I would recommend this spot and stay there again.

We love the Lake Geneva area and have so many fond childhood memorize spending most summer weekends at the lake. It was a treasure to be back in the area reminiscing, playing, eating, and exploring with my mom and sisters! The house worked well for us, however, we could not use the upstairs bedroom. While there are fans, the AC does not travel well upstairs, so that room was too hot. We used the pull out couch and the two bedrooms downstairs. Bring your own blow dryer if needed and beware that the stairs entering the house and leading upstairs are steep. A pleasant neighborhood within close proximity to all the lakes have to offer!

Charming Cottage

Charming quiet cottage. Close to the hustle and bustle of downtown. Nice big deck to relax on with a couple of local wildlife friends to watch while you relax. The host provided local attractions like Mars Resort and Next door pub- which both were very enjoyable and had great food and service. We would definitely stay here again.

The house had an overpowering smell of an old damp moldly basement when we walked in. Owners response was “it gets humid in Wisconsin”. It gets humid where I live and it doesn’t smell like that. House is really a two bedroom in the summer as it was 84 degrees upstairs. Also note the upstairs futons have no bedding. Other than those items the house has everything needed for a stay and the remodeled bathroom was nice other than the door doesn’t shut.

Fall Get Away

The house was so cute. It was very comfortable and everything you needed. I loved the neighborhood it was so quiet. It was great to sit on the porch and enjoy the weather and read a book. You could walk to Lake Como and walk along the lake, go fishing, have a meal at one of the restaurants or just sit and enjoy the scenery. It is located close to Lake Geneva. Just a great place to get away.

House and property were clean and nice. Everything was great. The only drawbacks were there were no dish towels or dish rags for the kitchen and only 3 coffee mugs. The bathroom door didn't close tight. Besides that we were happy with the stay.

How can you rate a home you never stayed at before? VRBO needs to monitor reviews especially since they are my partner this should not be allowed to post. I have responded to VRBO supervisor to remove this unattended post stay. Im sorry you were not able to stay due to an error on VRBOS double booking mishap. You never cane tonour home. Who can right a review on someone's property without staying?
