The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and two children. Its location was within walking distance of everything. The house is well maintained. I highly recommend (except when I want to stay there )

My family loved staying at this property! It's a beautiful, extremely well tended house. Very clean, Inside and out. The porches were wonderful. So much room! 6 bedrooms, with plenty of room for my large extended family! Great floorplan. Loved the kitchen, family room and dining room. We never felt crowded. As i said, there were a lot of us!! Perfect location- in town so you can walk to everything, yet feels like you are more rural. Even the garage was incredibly organized. Firepit was wonderful. Host was always quick to answer questions. And even let us check in a little early!!! None of us want to call these next opinions negative, but more like suggestions. The path/stairs to the river were a little rough. A couple mattresses were either too soft or too hard (but, we're a family with bad backs!). And, because there were so many of us, a second (half) bath downstairs would have been awesome ;) We've stayed at MANY places in old forge, and this is by far our favorite. The family is already talking about getting this house for next year!!!

The property was well kept outside and clean inside with a well-equipped, roomy kitchen.Ten of us were able to eat every meal at the long kitchen table (very important to us).With children part of the family, kitchen clean up was easy — including the floor.Driveway easily held 3 cars with room for one more.It was the perfect place to hold my 80th birthday family reunion! Our hosts were readily accessible for questions— responded quickly to text messages and even accepted a phone call or two.Check out instructions were simple and clear.Thank you Shannon and Eric!PS With close walking access to Old Forge town, we had a scavenger hunt — a big hit. Also enjoyed close proximity to Marina for pontoon boat rental and launching our own kayaks and paddle boards. Built many wonderful family memories!

This house had everything to make the stay comfortable. To really push it over the top, it could use a deep and thorough cleaning and more AC units. The hosts made communication easy and quick.
