Nice little place for a couple or a single person. Very well equipped and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay there and there was lots of nature around us to see when sitting on the deck. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Lovely house - quiet area but close to town. Exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked and the kind host left a wonderful bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in Atascadero.

A wonderful retreat amongst the majestic oaks with a tree house vibe to it. Gorgeous golden sunrises in the morning drinking a cup of coffee on the deck. Very cool they actually have a whole bean coffee grounder in kitchen. Always bring mine on trips but really didn’t have to this time lol. So many friendly visits day and night from a beautiful family of deer and one evening a couple of curious raccoons. The crickets sing all night and totally loved it. A very peaceful and relaxing place to recharge.

We enjoyed a quiet retreat where a doe and her two fawns graced us with their presence. The home was clean, comfortable, private, cozy. It was close to town center, stores, restaurants, the freeway, etc, despite its country feeling. Mike responded quickly and positively when contacted. Nice couple’s get-away!

This cabin is a very peaceful and cozy place to stay. This was my second stay and enjoyed every minute of it. The amenities are excellent, a lot of thought was put into this place. The shower and dip tube was relaxing and kitchen provided everything you need. The host is very find and helpful. Looking forward to my next stay.

House was very well stocked, clean and in great little town close to wineries. Great place for a couple lot stay. Only complaint was that the listing said it was a king sized bed but it was not, it was queen sized.

Stayed to see the grandkids

Only used the place to sleep really. Everything was comfortable well kept. The host was non intrusive. I would stay here again.

Wonderful home

Thank you for everything! The house had all the amenities one could ask for. Super clean and spacious. Check in was easy and the home is located just minutes from downtown activities. I will book again when visiting my family, thanks again!! Highly recommend.

Peaceful, Clean, and Hospitable

The cottage is beautiful, and the generosity of the host is second to none as they supply a variety of snacks, beverages, and toiletries. Our only suggestion is a full-length mirror should be installed. The overall rating is still a "five" and we would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family.

Wonderful Accommodation

I booked Mike's house for six days for my mom during her stay in Atascadero. Mike provided excellent communication from the beginning to the end. I asked my mom to provide information for the review. Her comments were: (1) The house is located in a very tranquil and quiet neighborhood that is only minutes away from the 101 freeway and downtown Atascadero (2) The house is surrounded by lush greenery that provides privacy (3) The deck is large and has comfortable chairs and a table all of which can accommodate five people (4) The house is very clean (5) The fireplace makes for very cozy nights (6) Mike stocks the house for guests as if he was preparing it for one of his own family members - all the necessities plus extra goodies and small gifts and (8) A big thank you to Mike for providing excellent accommodations.

Will definitely find availability at this affordable property again. The area is gorgeous & quiet. Mike clearly spoils those of us who rent this location!1. Secluded in a safe, quiet area with security features & well-lit w/ motion lights.2. EVERYTHING you may need? It’s there! Including snacks, coffee (so much to choose from), bubbly water, filtered water in a full adorable kitchen. 3. It was clean & so homey/comfy. I was by myself this trip but perfect setup for a traveling couple. 4. Location is perfect between airport, and wedding I attended, beaches, Atown, Pismo, Morrow Bay, and all the other amazing towns.Love this area. Definitely would recommend to people looking to relax and enjoy the area & this rental! And I will be back again myself, with my Mister in tow! lol
