Very quaint & clean studio apartment right in the heart of the historic downtown area. A convenient location that is walkable to many restaurants, shops, etc. & right next to the City Market. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

If you are looking for a one bedroom with a perfect location to everything in Charleston, this is your place. The room was clean, had good coffee and was perfect for what we were doing in Charleston, which was first time to the city and wanted to see the sites.

This is an excellent place to stay in downtown Charleston. It is so convenient to all shopping and restaurants . Charleston can be a little bit of a hard town to drive around in, but with this location you are so close that you can walk to everything. I thought the room decor was beautiful. Most of all though, it was extremely clean and the price is very reasonable with cost. We stayed in the upstairs apartment and opened the door out into the hallway where the other two chairs were to somewhat extend the room and have even more space. I love the fact that it was set up with almost a full kitchen. Communication with the host was also very good. I would highly recommend this place to stay, and will for sure be going back. Also, the air conditioning worked great because Charleston is very hot during this time of the year in september. We were comfortable the whole time we were there.

I would not stay here again. The unit was very unclean -a thick layer of dust on lamps and underneath the bed, a stain on the mattress pad for the small bed pull out, peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom and on the wall and a stray Hair in the sink that wasn’t either of ours. The unit is in a very touristed area with a fudge shop underneath it and T-shirt shops. Also the unit says there is a kitchen, but it’s really a kitchenette with a microwave no tea kettle. You’re also lots of codes that you have to remember to get into the place and out of it. It was disappointing because it was expensive. It’s basically a shopworn hotel room without any of the amenities that a hotel offers. Avoid it.

Our property is located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, and the street it is situated on is included in the listing title. The surrounding shops, restaurants, and attractions are a major draw for visitors looking to experience the city, and the location is clearly identified prior to booking. Additionally, the business directly beneath the unit is not a T-shirt shop, as your review may suggest. Regarding access, there are only two codes: one for the building's main entrance and one for the private unit. These are provided for guest security and convenience. The property's layout, kitchen setup, and available amenities are also represented in our listing photos and descriptions so guests know what to expect before booking. We understand that a downtown vacation rental may not be the ideal fit for every traveler, but we work hard to provide an accurate listing and a positive guest experience. We appreciate constructive feedback while also wanting to ensure future guests have an accurate understanding of what our property offers.
