Mike and Amy are very good hosts. Their place is very comfortable and the setting in the country is picturesque. They have the most comfortable lazy boy type chairs we have every run across. We would only mention the check-in process. The keypad lock on the door only works at 4:00PM or later. If you get there a little ahead of time you have to wait. Otherwise, we would highly recommend it.

Thank you for the overall positive review of our property and service. We enjoyed hosting you at the retreat. I was surprised however about the warning regarding check in time. If I am made aware of a need for early check-in, I do my best to accommodate the request. I show no record of a request for early check-in. I set the lock for our check in and check out times that we list. If you expect to be arriving early next time, please feel free to ask for an early check-in.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We chatted with the owner, Mike. It was very quiet and peaceful and just exactly what my soul needed. Mike was quick to respond to any and all questions, we fell in love with the house and the whole area. I will definitely stay there next time we're in the area.

Property was clean and comfortable. Owner insists on writing down all your information from your drivers license in a book, which made me a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, the stay went well.

Thank you for the positive overall review. The book is our registration book. Unfortunately in this day and age occasionally someone will challenge a booking. Logging your basic information of Name , address and phone number ensures that we have confirmed the person who booked it actually is present and provide it to Vrbo for confirmation.

This is a very cute property located in a beautiful area of Indiana. The host was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. There are nice views from the windows and the back porch. The air conditioners kept the unit cool on a hot and sunny day.We appreciated the coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplies.
