Yes, the cabin was not ready upon guest arrival. Unfortunately I was dealing with a life changing event that was causing additional stress and I dropped the ball on communicating with my housekeeper. I had the housekeeper there almost immediately. This was not a common occurrence for our rental. We take great pride in making sure it’s perfect from the moment you pull into the driveway.

Super nice place to stay! All the modern conveniences right down to a wine bottle opener and a iPhone charge cord. Beautiful trees are and golden in the fall season. Easy to book and access. Comfortable and clean. Definitely book this place!!!

Wonderful getaway spot!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was exceptionally clean, well designed, and perfectly located. Very convenient access to the trails and so quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The location couldn’t have been better, just minutes from the beautiful Talimena Scenic Drive. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable.The cabin itself was wonderful. You can truly tell the hosts thought of everything. It was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and had all the little touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxing. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a great location!

Wonderful new cabin, it had all the necessary toiletries and very secluded location. We came to ride Billy Creek trails, and it was a minute or two ride to the trail head. My wife says the bathroom and soaking tub were absolutely wonderful. I liked all the windows that basically gave you a panoramic view of the seclusion of the woods. Definite must see!

Very relaxing place to get away. Saw two deer in the back yard rode bikeon the four wheeler trails. Hope to come back up.s

Thanksgiving getaway

We really enjoyed our time at this cute cabin. I wanted to just getaway and relax It was perfect. No stores or convenience stores near. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed see the area. The trees were still beautiful.

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful and so relaxing! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with beautiful dishes. We especially loved the little touch of finding mints waiting on our bedside table.One of our favorite parts of the trip was spending our mornings and evenings on the back porch listening to the many different species of birds. We use the Merlin Bird ID app, so it was fun identifying all the birds we heard.Our only issue was that the air conditioning stopped working on our first night. We contacted the owners at 7:00 a.m., and they responded right away. They immediately arranged for a heating and air contractor to come out and even offered to refund the remainder of our stay if we wanted to leave. We chose to stay, hoping it could be repaired, and they kept us updated throughout the day with the contractor’s arrival time, the repair progress, and the cause of the problem. By the time we returned from exploring the area, the cabin was cool and comfortable again.The owners’ excellent communication and quick response turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a very positive experience. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We give The Pine a well deserved five star rating!

This cabin is a perfect spot if you want to hit multiple locations across southeastern OK or take a day trip to AR. I traveled with my 20 yo and 3 yo toddler and we loved every minute of our trip. The host was responsive and extremely flexible with our requests. The cabin itself is even better in person than the photos and feels like a tiny luxury after a long day of hiking and mountain driving. This cabin will be a go-to getaway for our little family when Ouchitah starts calling us back.

Everything was great. If there is a fault (not yours) little to no phone service. Be sure to note WiFi and password ahead of time. Otherwise great. Parking limited with trailer.

The AC unfortunately went down overnight on their stay and I had someone out by 10 am on a Saturday to repair. I offered to let them out of their reservation if they preferred. Sometimes things happened and all we can do as a host is try to fix as soon as possible, which I did.
