Please note: The Sea Cabins community pool will be CLOSED from Sunday, October 11, 2026, through Monday, October 26, 2026, for scheduled resurfacing. The pool will be unavailable for guest use during this period.

No hooks or rack for towels after showering. Also, need to add hooks for beach towels. Many other units have them. This was overlookedSecond: between the balconies, wonder if an opening could be created so you can enjoy the full balconies.But, great SeaCabin and we all had an amazing time!!!

Great unit for a family with bigger kids!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit for a week with our boys, ages 13 and 18. It worked out great space wise. A few things I’d note for future guests - there aren’t ANY hooks in the bathrooms. No where to hang a wet towel or even a hand towel. You get just a few towels to start with and the laundry facility isn’t the best. There were a few missing items in the kitchen for cooking and literally nothing to get started - no left over salt, pepper, etc. The broom is dirty so I didn’t want to use it. I tried the swiffer to collect sand and it worked ok. I love how close it is to the beach and the pool. The restaurants nearby are so good. The Harris Teeter across the street is very small. Just a few things to keep in mind.

A Tale of Two Condos

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It started out on a sour note because the unit was missing several basic kitchen items and the miss-matched dishes were nasty and totally unusable. I called the management company and they brought over a new frying pan, a new set of pots and pans, and several other basic kitchen items like pot holders. Before we could use any of the dishes I had to run three loads in the dishwasher. Overall the unit was nice and spacious, but it had no towel racks anywhere to hang up your wet towels and you must use your towel repeatedly because they only gave us one towel per person for the 4 night stay. So what do you do with your wet towel if you have no towel racks? You hang them outside on the porch furniture to dry. Big mistake!!! The property has a severe problem with RATS at night the rats would poop on our towels and clothing and even eat the kids clothing. It was gross to watch the rats chase one another in the evening hours on the decks and we could never sit on any of our 3 decks because of the poop (trust me I have pictures) and rats running on the deck for fear of getting bitten. Why I say it’s a condo of two scenarios is the location and pool are some of the best in IOP, but it’s so sad that the HOA of Sea Cabins has not taken care of the property and hasn’t done anything to control the rodent population. Would I return, yes but only if the rats are dealt with and the management company hires new cleaners. I asked them if glasses are put up with lipstick and dishes are put away with food on them what’s on the sheets and pillows I can’t see? Several pieces of the cloth furniture had what I imagined to be dried blood and other body fluids on them. Again, Gross! Certainly pictures can be misleading you look at this unit online and you think it is going to be a super high end fancy clean condo, but reality is much different.

I know that it is a newly refurbished property and I have a few suggestions for improvement:Towel bars and/or hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels should be added.Wastebaskets should be in each of the bathrooms.Safety handrails in the showers would be a wise addition.A mat/carpet inside the entry door would be helpful for catching sand and depositing shoes.

I was under the impression that we were staying again in wild dunes, so we were initially a little disappointed when we arrived and found out that we weren’t. Although, when booking, I was told that we were in a busier area. I thought that area was still in wild dunes, though. This would be a very busy, noisy, congested, place during peak season, I would imagine. We did enjoy our stay, though. Since it wasn’t yet peak season, it wasn’t too congested or loud. We did enjoy having several nice restaurants within walking of our condo. Our bathrooms and bedrooms were clean upon arrival, though our feet were black on the bottom after walking on the floors. I don’t believe the floors had been mopped. Other than that, the condo was really beautiful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in Sea Cabin 120B was the best yet! We have visited IOP for the last 4 years-always staying at Sea Cabins. Every year we have stayed on the 3rd floor in order to have the ocean view from the balcony. This year we needed a place with 2 bathrooms in order to accommodate 2 couples. We were so excited to find 120 B, not only giving us 2 bathrooms but also 2 separate bedrooms! When we first entered and opened the door to this beautiful dream- we felt like the luckiest people on earth. Wow, wow, WOW! Is All we can say!! This condo is like a home away from home- lots of room, a full kitchen, living room area for watching tv or just gathering, a full size dining table and not one but 3 THREE balconies!!! We are now spoiled brats and will only stay in this wonderful condo! To the owners of this paradise-what a luxury you have created. One that we hope to enjoy for years to come!

From the description of the property, I thought there was a washer and dryer inside the unit. It was inconvenient to do laundry since only one towel and washcloth were provided per six guests. There were four of us. Also, there were no hooks in the bathrooms to hang our towels for drying between use. The unit was spacious and convenient to local shops and restaurants.

This was our first stay in Sea Cabin 120-B. It was perfect in every way. The well-designed chef’s kitchen was filled with everything a cook would need. A gorgeous living room welcomed us with cozy furnishings and large windows to enjoy the ocean view. Both bedrooms had very comfortable beds and large bathrooms with backlit mirrors. We appreciated access to the balcony from the master bedroom for morning coffee as we watched the sunrise. This unit overflowed with features that created a perfect stay . . . gorgeous decor, bright and spacious rooms, sparkling clean, only a few steps from the beach, comfortable furnishings, walkable to shopping and restaurants. Perfection!

Lovely 2 Bedroom Condo at Sea Cabins

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to stay in Sea Cabin 120 B. We travel to Isle of Palms every fall and stay at Sea Cabins. We were so fortunate to be able to try out this brand new 2BR condo and it did not disappoint. So spacious, so modern. It was so comfortable and, even from the first floor, our view was great! Because it was so new, there were a few tiny things we noticed that could be easily rectified. The bathrooms had no garbage cans or hooks on the doors for robes, etc. There was no full-length mirror in the unit. There were some vent holes cut in the toe kicks in the bathrooms that were lacking vent covers. The biggest issue we had was they only allowed 1 parking pass. For a 2 BR condo, which took up 2 existing condos, I felt like 2 parking passes should have been a given, but we were only allowed 1 and we had 2 cars. So that was really our biggest complaint. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful!I can't speak highly enough about this unit. The negatives inside the unit were small, with the exception of the parking, and easily fixable. We travel fairly frequently, so these are just things we noticed that are usual amenities in other units we rent throughout the year, but they are not big issues. The beds were memory foam and very comfortable. There were ceiling fans in every room. The mirrors in the bathrooms were backlit and had a defrost mode on them, so no fogging! The kitchen is beautiful and open. You will not regret renting this unit. We enjoyed every second of our stay. We hope to rent it again next year!
