Very clean on arrival, with the AC already at 70—a welcome surprise on a hot day. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds and actually good pillows! Our 12-year-old especially loved the open-air loft.Kitchen was well stocked for normal cooking, though larger groups may want bigger pots/pans or specialty equipment. The property was a highlight. The shaded back deck is wonderfully relaxing. Out front is a HUGE open field with fire pits, room for games and kids to run, plus a small playground.I brought my 10" telescope and the field was great for observing—I even found the Ring Nebula for the first time! Dew ended my night early, but with clear skies it's a great spot for astronomy.Despite nearby cabins, we never heard our neighbors inside. Even a strong overnight thunderstorm sounded about like it would in a normal house. Parking is directly in front of each cabin, making unloading easy.Wi-Fi is quite slow, sometimes under 500 Kbps, so don't count on streaming. T-Mobile 5G was excellent, though, and our hotspots worked great.Location is excellent: Kroger is under 5 minutes away, the canoe livery is nearby, and Hocking Hills attractions are about 30 minutes away. It was also a great base for our trip to The Wilds. Easy drive from Cincinnati via 71/270/33 with no winding back roads.Checkout was an easy 15-minute job. And worth repeating: this place was CLEAN.Comfortable, quiet and convenient. We'd absolutely stay here again!
